A month or so ago I was fortunate to be able to get a preorder in for the older endurace model below. CF SL 8 di2 at $4,949 Canadian.

Fast forward today, at the closest price point is the CF SLX 7 Di2 at $4,849 Canadian. I put a preorder in at a similar future delivery date.

The older model was on sale and came with ultegra di2 (stealth grey) whereas the new model is 105 di2 but in my preference of colour (stealth black). I also do like the fully hidden cables on the new model. My head says go with the older model and my heart says to go with the newer model.
What was you do in my position? Do either come with a power meter? The Canadian site says both don’t but on the marketing or states all the SLX come with a power meter.

Bruuuh. Old so much better. Comparing ultegra and 300gr advantage against internal routing
Old one is much better bike. Lighter and better components for the same price. Internal routing is pointless and pain to service.
External routing looks ugly af. Also new frame is higher tier carbon. And has much more expensive aero adjustable cockpit. It fits 35mm tyres too. It’s just better bike
I love the clean looks of the new one. But yes, it’s gonna be heavier.
I understand the SLX 105 Di2 does not have a power meter (SRAM AXS version has).
How much is weight important to you? How much confident are you that the size and fit is right, especially reach?
Old Endurace > New Endurace.
