Make sure to visit the “Rheinfall” in Schaffhausen!
There is a very nice place to spent the midday nap in Waldshut-Tiengen where the Aare flows into the Rhine.
I see that you are planning to visit Colmar – VERY good idea and beautiful old town that miraculously survived the wars.
EV15 between Breisach and Lahr starts to go weird routes to take you to each and every small village for the sake of tourism. While visiting one or to villages is fine, going what feels like “in circles” made me a bit upset. So my advice is to not stick religiously to the route and use your map and / or compass.
