Which tires do you use? This will be my first winter trying to bike so need some tips. Its so cute to see Norwegians take their babies with them, shows a great sport culture, I like that best here in Norway 🙂 Thank you for the video.
This is a nice video. Can i please ask what the public attitude is to cyclists in Oslo? I notice you were overtaken very calmly by a taxi at one point. i live in Cambridge, UK which is supposed to be one of the best cities in the UK to be a cyclist but I hate it. Cars hate cyclists, cyclists hate cars and pedestrians and pedestrians hate cyclists. A lot of cyclists here break the law. The paths that have separate cycle/pedestrian sections are ignored. People walk in the middle of the path.
It is pretty relaxed, cyclists are typically using both the roads and sidewalks when there are no dedicated lanes. Cyclists typically try to use the sidewalks when possible to avoid car traffic. On the sidewalks the priority is to pedestrians but people typically step aside to let cyclists pass. On the roads, I have never experienced any "bad behavior" from cars.
Nice video. I was watching the video and was thinking. Does the Norwegian government thought of lining the road with electric heaters and using the electricity generated from offshore wind farms to heat up the road to remove the ice?
Nice video. I am surprised by the lack of traffic along the way yet, because of the amount of light and how far north Oslo is (compared with my city at 46degrees N), this can't be filmed at 7am, when I have to be on the road to work, I would have expected to see more traffic. Buddy, you've got to fix those brakes, they're squealing like banshees!!! LOL
I wish Los Angeles was like this but our city is so vast and not really meant for cyclists since barely anyone respects them on the road. Our metro transit in extremely inefficient too.

@udupiboy I use some studded tires bought at XXL. They work very good on snow and quite ok on ice. It will soon be time to put them back on the bike 🙂
Thanks for this video, !!!

Is the bike theft an issue in Oslo/Norge or it doesn't happen?
My impression is that it is a big issue in some parts of Oslo (especially the city center) but does not happen so much outside of Oslo. Cheers!
Nice video. What is this camera?

nice video. Does anyone know from when until when is it possible to go xcountry skiing around Oslo? thanks
I know you're not using regular cycling gloves are you? What kind of gloves are those? And are they warm?
child abuse
What was the temperature outside? And how do you not slip on the snow?
How do you actually not slip on the snow and roads? Stupid question but I remember cycling in the snow is really slippy
I love Norway, you are lucky. ❤️
