  1. Looks like an aftermarket protector for the rear chain stay (the tube that connects the crank to the rear wheel).

    I don’t know recall which one that is as there are two different shapes, but one protects the chain stay from chain slap and the other protects it from the plastic hook on the front fork when the bike is folded. You can see the residue from the double-stick tape on the inside of it. I’ll bet you’ll see the rest of the tape on the chain stay tube.

  2. 2024 P Line comes with it. Mine also fall off. I used a 3M command double side tape to stick it back on.
    You can probably see it in the third picture in P Line product page. Some colors have it, some don’t, it’s confusing.

  3. It’s to protect the frame when folding the P-Line. The C-Line just has a transparent sticker instead, which I think is actually better in the end because the metal one fell off my P-Line on the very first day and my C-Line still has the sticker a year later.
