Canyon Spectral 29 6 vs Spectral 27.5 CF 7

I’m really torn between these two bikes. With the summer sale, both options are cheaper, but I still can’t decide which one to go for.

When it comes to specs, there’s not a huge difference. The Spectral 27.5 CF 7 uses SLX components, while the Spectral 6 has Deore. The forks are almost identical, except the Spectral 6 has a lock option on the rear shock. The wheels differ too: the Spectral 6 has DT Swiss AM LN 370 wheels, while the CF 7 comes with DT Swiss XM1900 wheels. The frame is another key difference. The CF 7 has a carbon frame with 27.5-inch wheels, whereas the Spectral 6 has 29-inch wheels. The weight is also a consideration, with the CF 7 being a full 2kg lighter.

There’s also a $500 price difference between the two. Is the CF 7 worth the extra cost? I’d love to hear your thoughts and experiences with these models.
