I would probably start by adding brakes. Maybe you can upgrade to a derailleur if you’re feeling up to the task

Where did you buy this for 90 bucks? That’s a Korean Keirin circuit bike. The frame alone would’ve been about $750 new.
This bike doesn’t need to be upgraded. Get some proper pedals and send it.

Beautiful bike I don’t know how you got that so cheap. Buy some pedals that take velcro straps, the straps too and some bar tape (black obviously) and call it a day
