Itβs my first time riding this bike after picking her up earlier in the week. Just an easy Z2 two hour ride. The colors came out as nice as expected. Iβm calling it the Fried Egg .
The new SRAM Red hoods seem to fit my hands better than the mechanical Shimano 105 set that I was running before. Coming from a Specialized SL6, my initial thought is around the handling of the bike. The SL6 seemed more erratic/overly responsive while the Ostro smooths that all out.
You will definitely know that youβre on race bike with the feel of the road coming up through the handlebars. Iβm keen to throw on a pair of 30mm tyres to see if that will make some of the longer days in the saddle more comfortable.
Itβs still early days though. I havenβt dialed in my fit yet with my hands getting numb after 1.5 hours of easy riding. I can definitely tell that once Iβm in the right position, this is going to be one hell of a bike.
