It looks like a piece of the inner tube. It’s already got a slit in it. I would 100% remove it and put a new tube in. Better yet, take it back to the shop and have them do it for free.

I would have the shop remedy this for you, that is not right and you shouldn’t ride on it other than around the block.

Practice taking your tire off and reinstalling it and figure out what that is in the process

Take the bike back to where you bought it. Get your money back and go buy a new one from a place that gaf.

Looks like a broken tire lever or something they used to get the tire on. At first I thought it was a tube but it should stick out more and probably wouldn’t survive being inflated.
Tubeless by chance and they left a tube?

That will create a pinch flat. Deflate tube and pinch together both sides of sidewall all the way around and reinflate you should be good to go. Take care not to pinch flat the tube during this process.

It’s probably debris. Deflate, remove it, inflate.
