Impressions from Rallarvegen, probably Norway’s most reknown biking trail

This week, I biked from Finse to Flåm, the easy stretch of Rallarvegen starting at 1220m above see level and ending in a cruise port at the fjord. The steepest stretch goes 350m down over a 4km distance and is a good test of your brakes. The entire stretch is insanely beautiful, highly recommendable, but also a document to how humans have altered this high altitude landscape for over 150 years.
