A week ago suddenly started this snapping sound coming from the front, I think.
Things we tried at the LBS::
-removed fork (fox fit4 32), bottom headset bearing – couldn't remove top bearing as it was seized (should I get a new set? (they have never been changed) (Top and bottom )
-checked that the disc brake (shimano slx 4 pot) caliper screws are tight ( they were)
The fork stanchions have a bit of play , probably because of wear.
The guy at the LBS suggested we change the fork bushings because they may be worn.
It makes this sound when braking just before and after I stop (second part of the video). It also makes it when holding the front brake hard and trying to compress the fork and move the wheel (obviously without moving it since I'm holding the brake) – first part of the video.
Can you tell from the video what it could be?

I hear all kind of noises that I can’t relate to anything going on as the vid is mainly a big black band in the middle of my screen.
Can’t edit the post, “clicking” noise is at 0:23, 0:31, 0:39.
