Question: What can I do to resolve the frame issues when Specialized are not responding to me?
I bought my Allez Sprint (alloy) direct from Specialized Online, and took my first ride on it at the end of April 2023.
Around November 2023 I noticed bubbling and I thought was paint issues around the head tube and chainstay areas. Over the next few months these issues worsened, and the bubbling became apparent in multiple areas on the frameset. When I took it in for servicing in February 2024 (I service it every ~4 months), I was told the corrosion is very severe for a bike this age – it’s a manufacturer’s defect and a warranty claim.
I spoke with the local Specialized store, and it took them 10 weeks to finally give me an answer – corrosion isn’t covered (“but I can buy a new frameset with them if I want”).
I’ve spoken with Specialized employees at race events, and they’ve unanimously said that this level of corrosion should not be happening in such a short timeframe (7 months).
I have tried speaking to Rider Care and the local store again, however have been completely ignored (emailed multiple Rider Care addresses over 1 month ago, and the local store has zero interest in helping).
The corrosion is getting worse and worse by the week, and I assume at some point it will become bad enough that the bike isn’t safe to ride?
I’m looking for any suggestions or advice on what I should do next – thanks in advance.
Additional context: I live in Singapore which is humid however I very rarely ride in the wet, I maintain my bike very well, am not a heavy nor corrosive sweater, and the bike is stored inside in a room with a dehumidifier.

Singapore will/should have fair trading department that deals with disputed warranty claims.
Look them up and do what you need to do.

If you want to make this a bike wrench question then here is your answer.
Strip the frame down, get it sandblasted and powder coated and put it back together.
