2015 Giant Defy Advanced 1. Ultegra group set, 105 pedals, bottle cages and a weird ism tri seat.
Seller has not ridden the bike outside only 5 times on a trainer. Still has original tires and white bar tape which is practically clean still.
This is my first road bike. The geometry is almost exactly the same as a 2024 Defy. (Last photo.
In hindsight I found out it will only fit 28mm tires since it is older. It seems like 30-32mm is the modern standard.
I payed his asking price of $750 thinking this was a good deal and not wanting to try and fleece him more.
Was this a good purchase? Or did I over pay?

honestly dude stop thinking about it and just ride. whats the significant difference between 28 vs30mm? and who rides 32mm anyways? the most common road tires are still 28, 25, 30. its going to be fine.
and sure if u overpaid by $100 or 200, riding this for 5 years and u only paid $40 extra a year. what’s the big deal? u cant return it anyways
