Just asking for some input. Would this be a good candidate for a gravel bike conversion.
It’s a Raleigh max orge (with gt stickers).
Got some panaracer smoke and dart due tomorrow and already got black flat bar with gold graffiti coming tomorrow. A friend has some drop bars for me if needed. Just wanted to hear your thoughts.
It’s a 20 inch frame, 18 speed I think, 26 inch wheels. And a adjustable stem

And remember if you buy nice parts you can always put them on your next bike.
Ogre is not high on specs and it is heavy but with 10 pounds you can’t expect much. Frame looks like it will last forever.
It’s only weakness is that rear Mech is actual garbage. Anything Tourney can disappear.
Designed to destroy other parts intentionally.
If you plan on changing the bars out to anything other than flats/risers then that Girvin flex stem will have to go as it won’t work properly with drops or big swept back bars.
