Want to see how much more performance the new Porsche 911 GTS with its T-Hybrid system delivers over the current GTS? Well here I compare them in a drag race, rolling race and brake test with the help of former F1 driver Mark Webber.

Now this may seem a lot like Carwow. But don’t worry. This is a one-off here on my personal channel just for a bit of fun and I’ll be back on Carwow with all future drag races.

However, I will be doing more content here on my personal cars. And I’ve just bought yet another one so make sure to subscribe to this channel too.

  1. I’m considering purchasing the new Porsche at circa £174k and previously had the C4S which was pretty handy too! The problem with the UK is where to drive it. Suggestions?

  2. Mark Weber🤩 my ex fav f1 driver… then Dani Ric😁 and now evolving into a piastri fan😂 and im canadian lol weber started something!

  3. GEN1 Gts is too powerful for B road use already this is great for track to shave tenths off your times but too fast for roads im telling you. Ideal Car for road is GTS suspension and 470mm brakes with standard or S Spec engine at most.

  4. Despite the hybrid and 0.6L extra displacement and way more horsepower that was a closer race. I would say the 992.1 GTS with $15k in power mods would destroy the 992.2. In reality, the e-turbo will be good for tip in, but turbo jerk can lead to loss of traction, so I don't know how useful it will be. It will be a waste at the track because there really never was turbo lag at the track. The only reason the new GTS is faster is the extra power. If they had increased displacement to 3.6L and kept the twin turbos and upped the boost slightly to the same horsepower, while keeping one hundred pounds off the car, that would have been probably better. No overheating/battery issues either.

  5. drag racing cars with automatics and launch control. the new version is 12.7% more powerful, 3.2% heavier, and "surprisingly" its quicker…thank god we have RWD versions so they don't launch exactly the same every time, otherwise you migh just as well compare a spec sheet.

  6. BRUHH WE WANT SF90 vs AMG ONE😳😳😳😳😳😳😳😳😳😳😳😳😳😳😳😳😳😳😳😳😳😳😳😳😳😳😳😳😳😳😳😳😳😳😳😳😳😳😳😳😳😳😳😳😳😳😳😳😳😳😳😳😳😳😳😳😳😳😳😳😳😳😳😳😳

  7. Ugh. Automatic. For me shifting gears in corners and straights is a big part of the pleasure of driving. An automatic is great if you’re just tooling along the motorway but if you are using that car for what it was designed, it should really connect the driver with the road as directly as possible imho.
