No. I’ll never completely forget the time I went hypothermic miles from anywhere in the mountains of New Mexico (Mora/Black Lake) when it started raining, sleeting, and the temp rocketed down 20 degrees or so. And I’ll never leave the house without rain gear, or a waterproof layer, or a big black GLAD trash bag ever again.
Pre-cellphone days, not that there would have been any coverage there anyway.
(Obvious exception for sunny day, blue skies, short ride, in town, cell coverage, etc)

Usually not on purpose.
Sunday’s ride was dry for the climb but the clouds opened up shortly after we topped out and the downhill back to the trailhead was through rain and hail. It was “fun”.

Depends on what kind of rain, don’t mind hot summer downpours giving you something to cool off, hate those winter drizzles chilling you down until your frozen solid ..
