
My gravelbike’s at the shop so I took out the old hardtail to ride the same route as on my grave bike the day before. After 6 months on a gravel the hardtail feels like a tank to ride 😁. Just a nice back to back base ride comparison in very similar wind conditions. (49 M)

Average bpm is lower in the mountain bike
At 200W, it’s probably not enough for aero to play a significant role, but it’s enough to wipe off the rolling resistance difference from the tires. Bigger or smaller power outputs could make that time gap significantly greater (I think).
