Hi all, I’m pretty new to the fold and have started with an old 2007 3-speed. It was pretty beaten up so I’ve made a few mods to it. I absolutely love it but on the first couple of rides I’ve noticed that there’s a lot of rattling and squeaking when just riding on flat roads. I’ve removed a lot of the old stock parts (see image) so I’m assuming it can only be a few things that are causing it.
I think it’s a mixture of the old suspension block, cables rattling against the frame and sounds like the hub is making a lot of noise too (particularly in gear 3).
Is this just a Brompton thing or is there anything I can do to stop it?
Thanks

There is a bolt inside the suspension block that needs to be lubricated. Itsolved most of my squeaking issues.
