Hello, I just bought this -02 Brompton and it seems that when I unfold it, the rear wheel does not click into its unfolded state.
Neither do I need to unlock a hinge when folding the bike, the wheel just slides under when I pick it up.
I am new to Bromptons and wonder if this is normal on the old ones or am I missing a part?

Screw it to the left or right until it clicks
The older ones don’t click, that’s correct. I’m not completely sure when they made that change. Is there a small lever underneath the seat post clamp? If yes, your bike can theoretically lock the back triangle in place. You just need turn the suspension block in the correct position (trial and error). If not, it’s probably old enough that it works the old way and it does not lock in place.
