I’m actually very new to biking and have been planning on getting a road/hybrid for commuting.
I’m a student so I’d say I’m quite broke
I wouldn’t say I have a lot of use for the bike neither do I have a huge budget, I just want something that would last a while without burning a hole in my pocket.
Any help would be appreciated.

To the average Joe on Craigslist – $100
To nerds on Reddit – $500
If it fits you it would make a great commuter or road/touring bike.
It’s worth $125, and leave some budget for a bike shop to correct any issues (or to buy parts and DIY it.) Any bike this age will need some attention. But it looks pretty well kept.
