Bought a Trek 970 a few years back in case any of my friends would want me to rebuild it one day.
As it was way too small for me I didn’t really care and let it collect dust in the basement for 2-3 years now.
2 weeks ago I remembered that I still had it down there, pulled it up and started cleaning and servicing it, revealing the stunning “sour grape” colorway. Removed the bullhorns, added new tires, saddle and grips.
Rides like a charm, one of the most beautiful paintjobs I’ve seen in a while. Just noticed after a little clean and polish job.
