Yesteday I felt ready and wanted to test the X-Mid 1 and the other gear. I packed and camped around 20km from home. It was a great experience. The gear was great too. The picture is only showing the tent and the bike though.
About 15 mins biking from this campsite, I visited a Dutch national park (Veluwe) and soon spotted a wolf 75m in front of me. I backed up a bit and asked a local about the wolf and we had nice conversation. Then thunder kicked in at a distance, so the local invited me to her home to shelter and have some coffee. We had a nice talking time and then I left home. I guess traveling creates some area to connect with people better.
Short post, but it was a short trip too. I entered the campsite at 8pm and left it at 6.45am.
