personally I’d fix that, put a patch on the inside of the tire just in case and glue the knob back in place with some vulcanizing glue (the little tube of glue that comes in tire/tube patch kits). I’d check the inside of the tire and try to see inside that cut if there’s any damage to the fibers in the sidewall though, especially if running tubeless.
maybe I’m just stingy and cheap though.
although, this looks like a very new tire, what happened? if the bike sat for a very long time and you just woke up to the knob peeling off like that, I’d replace then, because that means the tire is badly oxidized
