I am a beginner looking for an entry level road bike, I have a diamondback mountain bike I love as my commuter bike, looking for a very affordable road bike to switch it up and use on my indoor trainer, what are the opinions on this bike?

I think it’s a good price
When buying a cheap used road bike there are a few things to consider, first and foremost is fit. A bike that is too big or small isn’t worth it at any price. Second is how much will you have to spend to get it in the condition you want. Things like a new chain / cassette / tires / handlebar tape can easily exceed the cost of the bike. Realted, on that bike you may want a new seat post and maybe saddle as it looks like they changed them to equipment more common to a hybrid. It’s almost always better to spend more on a well maintenance older bike that’s ready to go than finding the absolute cheapest that’s a bit clapped out.
