  1. I’m checking this out tomorrow, if I converted it to flat bars and went full x-bike could it be a better fit for me? I just want a taste of that sweet titanium.

  2. Some short reach compact bars will make a huge different with fit. Also, measure the top tube and compare it with bikes you already ride.

I’m 5’8″, not real flexible any more. If those bars are a bit of a reach, swap the stem out for a shorter one. I ride custom 53~54 cm roadbikes with 80ish mm stems depending on the bars. I’d buy it in a heart-beat. Tweak it as needed and ride the hell out of it.

  4. I’m 5′ 8, with short legs, and I could ride most 55’s without too much trouble. I’d prefer slightly smaller, but certainly not wildly out of my size range.

I may go for a shorter stem, personally.

I’m 5’10” and a 54 is right for me, I don’t have the longest legs though. 30” inseam. 55 might work for ya if you have longer legs, but you might end up smashing your bits on that top tube. Good deal on that bike though.

Hell yeah. Shorter stem, shorter reach bars and a zero offset seatpost. If that seat tube is 55cm then the top tube can’t be too long judging by this picture

The parts are almost worth the asking price- run, don’t walk. I have the lower-end Catalyst model and it’s a forever bike for me (among a few others).

  8. hell of a deal! peep the bottom bracket area and chainstays for cracks! litespeed made great stuff, but i’ve seen a few old ones crack there. If it isn’t cracked by now, it should be fine!
