As I was assembling stuff, I knew I was taking way too much, but I sort of justified it by seeing it as testing capacity for a more involved trip in colder weather.
Setup was great except I need some more hand positions. Bike is flat barred mostly because it’s also my commuter and I like that in the winter.
I could do without the road riding to get up the shore of Lake Superior; there are some shuttle options available but I wasn’t organized enough this time around.
