How do the components compare on these, are they all similar level and quality?
I want a bike that will last a lifetime that will be cheapest to service / replace parts on down the road, maybe some of the design and parts on these are exotic and rare and will be difficult to repair and replace down the road?
I’m leaning towards Norco as they are Canadian and have been making bikes for 60 years, and are sold in all the LBS, so even though I will do maintenance and repairs myself, I’m thinking the parts are very standard, easy and cheap to source.

My vote is for the canyon, at that price the bomber fork on the Norco isn’t the one. That’s the sram nx on the YT isn’t the best either. The canyon has neither of those issues.
Canyon all day
What kind of riding are you doing and how heavy are you?
The Norco is great and if it came with a better fork I think it’s the winner.
The Canyon is probably the best overall.
The YT drivetrain is awful.
Norco all day, canyon bikes might be cheaper till your frame gets fcked or other service issues and repairs but don’t expect customer service to help you so if that’s worth the price for you then go for it
If you want the bike to last a “lifetime”, focus on the frame fit rather than components. Take a test ride on anything you can and learn what geometry numbers matter to you. Replacing a group set or fork is easier than riding on a frame that doesn’t fit right.
If you’re in Canada, check out the 2024 carbon Fluid builds….they’re on sale.
The 2024 C3 build is only a bit more $ than the 2023 A2 build at $3499.
That Norco is the way to go.
Some are underselling that Marzochi fork, great fork that. Shock is a piggyback as well. So suspension wise, I would say this has the best. Not a fan of the Fox rhythm. The Lyrik on the Canyon would be preferred. At the price point, would never see a great rear shock but a piggy back shock is nice.
Drivetrain is Shimano on the Norco. XT derailleur (high end) and SLX(mid range) triggers, nice combo on that.
Stoppers. 4 Piston TRPs over all the others for sure.
Wheels. Those Stans will be nice.
All of those components would be readily available.
If you are really looking for a “lifetime” bike, please go out and ride on some frames. Frame fit and geo will make a bike more “lifetime” than the components. Components all wear, frames not so much.
