This bike started out as a minimal build with pursuit bars, but over a year of riding it’s turned into something [Eben Weiss](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sDCr6-1ORhQ) could be proud of. I don’t own a car, and this is my everything bike; over the course of a week it might see anything from grocery runs and gravel trails to 40-mile commutes, so I built this out to be comfortable, bulletproof, and fun as hell.

The only stock component remaining is the headset, which I’ll probably swap out for a King after it’s been through another winter. I’m considering a Wound Up fork, but I love running 32mm tires so I might need to get their tracklocross variant. Other than that I’m super happy with the build.

Parts: Dia Compe hubs laced to Archetypes, 49×17 with an EAI cog and an AARN camo chainring. Chris King bottom bracket, Sugino 75 DD cranks, SimWorks taco pedals, and HoldFast straps. 700x32mm GP 5000s & Tubolito tubes. Paul Components stem, seatpost, and brake lever, Selle Anatomica saddle, Nitto Jitensha handlebar, and Oury grips. Bell by Spurcycle, and a King bottle cage powder coated by Myth Cycles.

  2. Beautiful build – I run the exact same drivetrain! But FYI, your AARN ring is on upside down – the chainring bolts shouldn’t be sticking out like that. Best change that asap so your bolts don’t come loose
