On my way to @ukfloatevents FTH I stopped in Edinburgh for a day to explore town. Took the bus to the Glencoe mountain resort the next day getting ready for Float The Highlands downhill race 2023!

welcome to Scotland I assembled my board right on the bus from the airport to town so I can ride as soon as I’m there just got to PG last night [Music] all right I had one day free for exploring the [Music] town I mean the city is one thing but look at that come on buses I got to get on that Hill looks so cool so many things to see I have a new goal I have to get up there like right now there were signs of rain like minutes ago and now it’s sunny that’s Scotland but it’s super nice I just got to get up that hill it looks so cool I don’t know what’s going on there but I’m close to the hill that I wanted to explore so apparently this track is not ridable up to the top but I think that one is I’m mean Ed and I’m riding crazy nice trails well it’s way harder getting to that top as I thought it would be but I’m still on the mother attacked me so I got to stay calm so she goes away and there’s a super big bird up there I don’t know if you could see it probably the father I’m not afraid of birds but those are super angry I needed to walk through the grass to avoid and I made it that’s the place I wanted to climb on such a nice view all over town I was on that hill before look how small it is but that one is not reachable by a one wheel for sure going down not the same way I go on looks like just a nice grass slope I wonder why I didn’t take this way up cuz I did the tricky one but it was cool anyway now I need to find a place to charge soon cuz this hill took quite some battery off me back on the paved pad and back to town moving out of the busy City Center maybe going north to the Sea just recharged my one wheeel at the cafe so I’m ready to go quite far it’s funny riding on the left side of the streets but I’m getting used to it slowly just reached the sea this is super cool place to ride just north of town near the sea I love it it’s not terribly windy just a little bit these ones even nicer it’s going to be kind of a perfect timing for lunch when I get into town and my battery is going to be down again so it’s going to be kind of the perfect time to eat and charge at the same time the more I explore it this city is getting nicer and nicer and it’s sunny again it’s another nice park some kids tried my one wheeel they love it but they’re shy telling it to you there is nice R in the one whe well that’s a nice place right there there’s a bridge I’m meeting Sandy Brandy uh Rider from Texas I think she doesn’t have her one whee here and she’s getting one in the highlands but anyway I’ve been riding all day by myself so I think I’m going to enjoy some company even if we’re not going to go riding one Wheels who’s that is that my one wheeel oh I think I think she’s so happy riding around that I’ve lost it for today it rides like like my board it’s great I like it thanks yes I need one had a few beers with sand Brandy is super nice we are taking the same bus tomorrow to the highlands while now I’m just returning to the hostel I’m leaving Edinburg for now heavy loaded with all of the bags going uphill going to the bus in 15 minutes first to Glasgow and then to gleno see you on the way [Music] the bus just left me here I guess that’s it that’s the mountain let’s see what’s going on oh so many things if the map was right this Trail should get me to the King’s house hostel in the middle of Noel and then I can get back to the event and check out what’s going on Flow the highlands that’s going to be my sleeping place somewhere there I’m going to check the event place I’m a bit early it’s 2:00 p.m. the reception said they can let me in before tree but I managed to leave a bag there so I don’t need to carry everything meaning all is good this road from the event to the sleeping place is quite bad but it’s ridable all of it anywhere you look it’s just beautiful well not many people are here yet just met with Andy and the float the highlands through weather is just perfect today I think it’s going to be getting worse during the next days so I have some time and there’s like no way to spend it in a hotel or whatever so I just went for a ride alone there should be a social right at 700 they say Sunset is like 15 minutes before midnight so that’s going to be cool riding till midnight in the Sun but yeah anyway I couldn’t wait for the others to show up I needed to go for a ride cuz this place is just beautiful just look at this landscape I don’t need anything else else I have my one wheel the weather is perfect and the views are just amazing I have no idea where this road goes but it’s near some nice creek and I’m just going to follow it we’re going to race down this mountain tomorrow no on Saturday today I’m going to just enjoy this part a little bit further and we’re going to see it goes
