Hey everyone, I’m in need of some help with my old BMX restoration. I’m measuring the bottom bracket and getting a reading of around 46mm. However, this doesn’t seem to match up with any of the standard bottom bracket sizes (Mid, American, Euro, or Spanish). Could I be making a mistake in my measurements?

What type of bike is it ? did it have 1 pc cranks or 3 pc cranks ?

Your picture looks like a loose ball American bottom bracket. Did the bike have one piece cranks?
