Hi all! I’m looking to purchase my first Grizl 6. My recommended size is currently out of stock website says it will not be back in stock until spring 2025- that’s a long wait.. I’m wondering if I can fit a 2XS instead – I’m 5’0 – 29 inseam. Any fellow shorties run into this? I’ve had trouble finding a bike that fits my size and was pretty excited to see canyons xs options. Please HALP – thank you!

According to the website I was supposed to be an XS but went with a S. Idk how true or not, but other people I know all sized up for their Canyon.
I am 1.58 m tall and have an inside leg length of 75 cm. On the Canyon website I was between 3XS and 2XS, after a visit to Canyon I decided on the size 2XS and it has fitted perfectly for over a year.
If it’s helpful – I am 5’4” and have a 29” inseam. The size chart recommends a 2XS for me (in both their road and gravel bikes). I know you’re looking at a grizl, but my 2XS endurace fits me really well and I definitely don’t feel the need to size up or size down.
Holy shit there is some bad advice being posted in here…
Trust the Canyon calculator. I’m 49, worked in 2 bike shops, sold bicycles in my own shop and worked on marketing with bicycle brands too. I’ve owned countless bikes over the years. I’ve never once bought a bike in XS, but the Canyon calculator suggested an XS and I went with it. The fit is perfect and up there with the best fitting bike I’ve ever bought.
I am 5’2 with 30” inseam so technically 3xs but right on the line of 3xs and 2xs. I went back and forth on size but ultimately trusted the calculator and went with 3xs for my endurance
I was recommended small/medium in a grail. I’m sending the medium back because of how large it felt. I have NEVER been a small framed dude before this bike.
Regarding their sizing. I own multiple Canyon bikes and they all fit perfectly.
