in this video I’ll share with you guys useful tips that you require if you want to relocate AB birad or relocate to Poland and also some skills that you’ll be needing to make your relocation process very [Music] smooth hi guys guys welcome back to my channel this is Anita and it’s been a while if you love the content that I create here or you like the content that I create here please don’t guys let’s Dive Right into this video the first advice I give to anybody relocating or I’ll give to myself for years ago is learn the language I know I I probably said the language is difficult and stuff like that but trust me guys learning the language places you at an edge it gives you this advantage that every new um student or every new immigrant into a foreign land especially in Europe you need um it doesn’t have to be like the language in like um C1 level but at least basic language like basic polish it could be good morning it could be excuse me it could be how you introduce yourself both formally and informally it could just be anything but make sure to learn the language there’s so many platforms that you can learn this language for free you have draingo you have so many platforms just Google them and they are all for free so you not you don’t need to pay money just pick up the um platforms download them and let the language because trust me you will need the language it’s very essential and it doesn’t really have to be on a professional base just learn the basic polish number two advice that I have for anybody coming to Poland is the Polish people they just all need some time to get to know you they need some time to let you in so when you’re in Poland and you realize that maybe in your place of work or school wherever they are not communicating to you communicating with you or what have you just relax it’s okay they they they’re just naturally like that sometimes it’ll be okay for you to speak to them first it doesn’t cost you anything when they speak to you or you speak to them and they speak to you in English they also love it when you just like compliment them oh my God you speak nice I love your English oh how did you learn they want you to tell them that um okay they are doing it right because many of them are scared and they feel like okay they’re not speaking maybe they are not good when it comes to English so they don’t want to communicate with you so when you’re in that kind of situation try to like just communicate with them and always just tell them how good their English is and just try to be open-minded it’s is very essential I for one I’ve made that mistake in my previous place of work I realized that when I started working I was just in my own space I literally spoke to more of my kind of people more Africans people from other parts of the world I really wasn’t communicating so much with the Polish people and trust me it wasn’t good at all it was not a good move to make so try to be open-minded because when you do that when when you’re open-minded and you communicate with them you let them in trust me they are one of the nicest persons or nicest people you ever come across and and that’s the fact I’ll say that anytime any day the Polish people are very nice but you wouldn’t know if you just stay in your space be open-minded let these people in do not feel bad when they don’t talk to you first it’s just their thing okay guys number three advice that I have for anybody relocating abroad or relocating to Poland in particular guys guys when you relocate please get acquainted with your community this is so essential like I couldn’t lay any emphasis Less on this this is so important get acquainted with your community get to know your people because you would need them we all need each other especially in a foreign land oh my God everybody needs their community so get acquainted with your community when you come in they going to be available to help you assist you show you the way like trust me if by the time we came to Poland we didn’t get acquainted with like people that were here before us many of us would don’t even get a job because we needed these informations we needed this information and stuff like that from our people because okay for instance now you want to register your for your social security number your person number trust me a poce person might not really know the procedure that you need to do that as a foreigner but your community you would know everything that you need your community would know like literally how to open an account for you as a foreigner like they are the ones that will show you and tell you that okay this is how it is done this is how it is not done do not do this do not do that so guys when you’re relocating abroad don’t come in and be raising your should and say uh I don’t talk yeah they are your family so make sure you get acquainted I don’t tell I’m not saying you should be lovey doy or be their best friends or anything no but make sure you get acquainted with a community and yeah the rest is history trust me when you have that Community backing you up you’re going to find life very easy in any foreign land you find yourself okay guys number four advice that I have for you is use your benefits yeah use your benefits let me explain this regardless of your status be you a student or a worker as far as you’re in Poland or you’re in any foreign land use your benefits the benefits that you have there are so many Limitless as a student if you’re under 26 or yeah under 26 you have so many discounts make sure to use them you have distance discounts when you go to the bars you have discounts when you go to the restaurant you have discounts when you go to shopping malls like if you’re a student you have so many discounts use them because they are yours use them if you’re working in your place of work they give you the multi sports card this card gives you access to the swimming pools the sunners the gyms and so on and so forth use it I for one I was so I don’t know I don’t want to call myself any negative name but trust me in my previous job I didn’t use my multi sports card and I regret it because it was just life Made Easy use your benefit guys like there’s so many benefits make sure to use them okay very important use them that’s why you’re here these benefits are given to you so you should use them you pay a very tiny fee for these benefits so please use them as to paying a full fee to get that same service you get me so yeah use your benefits don’t say I didn’t tell you this is important information I didn’t see anybody that told me this I am telling you this for free don’t forget to use your benefit okay guys the fifth advice I have for anyone relocating abroad be Poland or anywhere guys make sure to learn how to drive drive a car and drive a bicycle drive a scooter just learn how to drive very important let me explain why firstly driving schools abroad and the entire conversion or going for the writing their examinations it is expensive notice it is expensive it is a little bit very taxing like the examinations are quite hard though if you have a driver’s license from probably Nigeria when you relocate you’re still going to write an exam but you’re going to escape all of those um classes and stuffs like that so it is advantageous if you already have a license from Nigeria and make sure to come with your license valid also guys don’t take laning or driving a bicycle for granted it is it comes in really handy let me explain to you why there are so many um platforms where you can work like uber e um gloo so on and so forth and trust me you can literally be a delivery person working with Uber eight and you pay your tution fee pay your rent and stuff like that so it is a very like a very handy job that just makes that that something you can just do because you have the skill because you can drive a bicycle because you can drive a car or because you can drive a scooter so learn how to drive because it is definitely going to come in very handy for you and you would definitely make money from it trust me you might come in and immediately you’re not going to get a job what happens then but if you can drive if you don’t get a job immediately then you can easily pick up your bicycle or buy a bicycle you sell as cheap cheap as 200y 300y as a case may be buy a bicycle and guess what you start you started gloal or you start um Uber eight or stuff like that or another that case scenario you can get a scooter even if you don’t need to buy a scooter there’s so many scooters in fact there so many bicycles and scooters on the street for rent all you need to do just either you put in a coin or you scan the code on your phone and you make a payment and you’re good to go or you can easily buy a car cars are not so expensive it just depends on the kind of car you’re going for when I say cars are not so expensive don’t go and expect you’re going to buy one very big car for a very cheap amount no cars are not so expensive but it depends on the quality of what you’re looking for but regardless you can easily get a car and start a little business to sustain you till you get a job so that is very important please guys learn how to drive it could be a scooter it could be a car whatever you just lay out to drive okay that takes us to number six number six is very important guys you’re coming to a foreign land and um you’re coming and you’re going to meets new people please guys respect their culture we are different we’re all different in our own ways don’t come here and make people feel bad in their own country do you get forget about the NES all of the stories you’ve heard or what have you come leave your own EXP experience do you understand just come with a very open mind don’t be judgmental leave learn enjoy because trust me you will enjoy forward you understand so just come with a very open mind and don’t be judgmental and trust me you will be fine respect their culture when you see something that you’re not familiar with or you see something that you know just communicate with them oh my God I just saw this what does it mean what does and trust me a Polish person will engage you in their history that person is going to explain to you what that means and how it is beneficial or why it is being done respect your culture and yeah you will love it here if you do that this is very important and that is why I’m lay emphasis on it respect they say is reciprocal so respects their culture okay guys that takes us to number seven guys number seven is just going to be a lot I’m going to give you a lot of advices I’m going to tell you some skills that you need to pick up but yeah that’s about it guys please if you have the opportunity learn out to Bap learn how to cook learn how to um cook especially learn how to read the Google Maps because trust me you’re going to be using it a whole lot unless maybe when you come the day arrive you’re going to get a car when you get a car you’re going to learn how to use the Google Maps the Google Maps is going to be your best friend so trust me guys you have to learn how to understand the Google Maps you have to learn how to cook how to bake there is so much money need to be made like from baking from cooking from decorating you name it like pickup skills babing you can make as much as 60 to 50 zy from bbing one person’s hair and that’s just like babing your friend or whatever you you will make so much money just to Bab her you’ll make a lot if you can braid like if you’re a braider guys you’re going to make so much money what else if you can bake small more chops cake I know a lot of Nigerians that are so fascinated and they miss Nigerian cake because they always say like oh no um the way the Polish people make their cake is quite different yeah it’s quite different but for me it’s so amazing I love it but there are so many Nigerians that want to eat Nigerian cake that want to eat small chops that want to eat meat pie and stuff like that so guys let be handy be able to do so much come come as a full package you know what it means to come as a full package come prepared like make us understand that ah this one that I have come I’m coming to pack all the money come learn how to cook learn how to bake learn how to B learn how to Plate like just learn so much learn skills this skills all come in handy they are not going to waste you get me they’re not going to waste they all very handy skills so that’s one of my advice to you guys learn how to do all of these things and come here Create Your Story create your own memories and have fun okay so yeah Guys these are most of the advices oh don’t forget um don’t forget to bring African food you’ll need it and um if you’re a lady come with your relaxers some of your hair products that is very important like if for instance you’re on natural hair I advise you leave so many clothes that you might not be needing come with a lot of hair products come with those essential things that you know that you’re not going to get here because they don’t have our hair texture so definitely if you come with your relaxer your hair products good for you though there are African store that sell all this product but trust me it might be a little bit pricey for you that is just coming in at the beginning so make sure to come prepared you don’t need to come with so many winter jackets or stuff like that because trust me guys the jacket that you’re buying unless it is really really quality from a very quality brand or something when you come it’s not going to do the job because most of those jackets are not from places that experience the kind of winter that they experience in Poland so there’re just some things that I feel like you don’t need to come with a whole lot I’m going to be making a video where I’m going to be telling you all of the essentials that
