Rode the ferry from Victoria to Port Angeles. Took about 1.5 hours to get to the start of the dirt trail. Lots of switchbacks, climbing (not too steep) and views. Beautiful single track but I sent it to hard and got a big puncture 😅 hitchhiked to the next campground and found someone with sealant!! After that, I camped right on Lake Crescent and the next morning I rode the highway around (it was quiet but apparently it’s usually very very busy). Got snacks at Fairholme store, then started the Spruce Rail trail! It’s a very mellow trail that follows the Lake. So many opportunities for swimming! Rode the highway on my way back (not that fun).
