Can’t say if it’s bad or wrong, but it’s definitely not in the right place.

Definitely try taking out that bolt, that looks like the bolt sheered off. If you don’t know how, or don’t have the tools, definitely get it checked out at a bike shop. If this fails completely on a descent, it’s not the worst like a fork snapping but easily can get you in a hospital.

Is that a wrap job or a big crack in the frame on the left? A frame crack could certainly break a bolt eventually

Looks like you are in for a new rear triangle. Hope it’s the rear anyway.

  5. Is your bike a Pivot by any chance? Pivot bikes are known to break pivot bolts. Yes we are all aware of the irony.

  6. Looks like the bolt may be loose, but I think it’s possible you broke the frame and the crack is masked by the ridewrap. Reason I say this is because the bolt looks straight, but the bushing closest to the camera has come loose. I don’t see any way that could happen unless there is too much tolerance in the shock mount… aka a broken shock mount.
