Giant Escape 2 Disc worth it?

Hello all!

I'm looking at purchasing my first bike and I've been eyeing the Giant Escape 2 Disc from a local shop. However I have no idea how good any of the specs are and was wondering if they seem good for the price!

I'm mostly looking to use it to get some exercise and ride around the neighborhood on mostly paved roads as well as a little gravel and dirt roads. No trails.

The bike is normally 780 but is on sale for 680. I've attached an image of the specs!
