Is it a terrible idea to size up a little bit and get the XL Endurace CF 8? It seems like an awesome bike and tremendous value for the components, especially at $2,099 on sale right now. However, when I put my measurements into their sizing tool, they recommend a Large – which unfortunately is sold out.
I'm 6'2" and currently riding a Specialized Allez 61cm, which feels reasonably fine and has the same measurements as the Canyon XL. I'm a relatively new rider as of this season, and going about two times a week. I feel like I'm maybe reaching slightly but have a wingspan longer than 6'2", and get a little bit of low back tightness, but can't quite tell if that's just how it is starting out.
What do you all think? Is this a terrible idea?

Is there a way for you to test ride the xl? But if the geometry of the bikes are the same, maybe check 99spokes then you could try it. Just make sure you can return the bike if its to big.
