Chicago to pictured rocks state park tour

I’m doing Chicago to pictured rocks tour starting Thursday. I just had a question for anyone who’s done or knows the upper Michigan area. Komoot wants me to take us highway 41 and it does not look fun. I found an alternative route but I have no idea if it’s bikeable. It’s call the rapid river truck trail 509. Looks good for the first half but then google street view ends and it’s hard to see the road on satellite kind of makes me nervous. Because once I’m that deep in it, there’s no going back.
