Fishing Seaton Carew Beach Hartlepool

We went to Seaton Carew Beach looking for bass hoping to get my 1st bass this is a great location one of the best I have fished I hope you all enjoy the video.

[Music] hello everyone welcome to Gillies fishing uh we’re out to the SE in Karu Beach we’ve got some rag and squid that CH today and hopefully we can get masks and some big flatfish so yeah that’s first time doing an intro it’s actually not bad that well yeah like I said R eating through Beach going to get S got R squid macro so we’re going to try catching whatever’s out there and this is the first time fish in it yeah so yeah what we’re going to do is set up get the rag on we’re going to try rag first on a two up FL off and uh get a ho wig out as well so yeah hope left let’s catch let’s catch some fish no no I’m going to do it over now right so if you can see it obviously this is a rig a quick riger knocked up last night so it’s to much flap up don’t play B with me yeah as far knocking up last night give it a try I’ve already got loads made but this one’s a bit different than the others so I’m going to stick this one on with some rag so I’m hoping you can see it in the yeah you can you can see it all moov right well this is the bait of got of a friend who goes out digging himself and yeah put them in the fridge all night they are so fresh five left is unreal I’m going to get these put on and get it casted out well get it cast out I keep getting corrected on saying cast them so I’m going to cast these out well there’s the first Rod out I found it body picking them up there all right well we’ve moved spots cuz we was over there obiously with the water moving around I didn’t think it’ move around us this fast but with me fishing here this is the first time so I’m not taking any risk getting stranded on there so we’ve dragged everything up here and we’re fishing here I know it’s forecast it forecast loads of rain for today but without me jinxing it hopefully yeah hopefully it it doesn’t it don’t look like it is either looks really nice weather’s all right these all wanting to know the date that I’m out fishing as well it is the 6th of July and it’s high tide at just before 5 we are now on 12:26 12 so I’m going to be fishing right up until later on tonight I’ve got plenty of bait got loads of rag loads of squid loads of macro if I get bored I brought some Spinners as well and some wor and the ch yeah and if pH to watch England so yeah hopefully we’re going to be here well England’s on so hopefully we catch some decent fish but you just never know when that’s fishing you catch you catch you don’t you don’t we got plenty of fresh Rag and usually when we Aston we do catch up work 50 sometimes yeah I’m enjoying I tell you what over there though absolutely rammed with weed we been TR yeah I cast out twice and twice I dragged in huge huge balls of weed so I moved about another it’s about another 5 minutes up the beach in it yeah yeah so I’ve moved up here whatever must have been biting is probably done well yeah we’ll Carry On Fishing we have any bites anything we’ll bring you straight back right well we’re getting a bite on Ashton’s Rod even though he was way having some to eat so we finally got our first fish not bad at least we’re not blanking I know we’re definitely not blanking it’s been it’s been biting for a while but obviously it just took it it’s nice fighting fish that actually I thought some bigger you happy with it a’t Ash yeah right I’m going to get it unplucked and then we’re going to get it released right well there’s our first fish can I release it give me a minute actually put it in here I need to put it for it all right let’s see if it move back Ash all there we go it’s gone first fish of the day I think it was a dab I’ll have to look it up it’s either a dab or a flounder I doubt it’s a flounder I think it’s definitely a dab but yeah I’m going to bait up and then we’ll get straight back at it won’t we yep definitely getting by St anything on it that ni it is is at to be right well we’ve been here roughly now about 2 and 1/ half hours I think it jinxed it with a weather cuz if you can see it looks like it’s going to B down I’m getting a few few drops of rain Ashton’s up there just checking up there out there a good few people on the end of the GE but hopefully it don’t absolutely B down just far catch showers for later on today but I’m not F me just Just Fishing it we’ve had that one flat fish out I think it was a dab you’ll have to correct me if I’m wrong because I’m awful with trying to guess which kind of flatfish it is but I’m going to say a dab anyway but stick it in the comments if it’s not but yeah just had that we had that on black clug um we’ve been getting plenty of bites but we’re still getting bites on Ashton’s rod on the right hand side and my rod um we had a huge bite before but obviously I missed whatever it was struck I think way too early but yeah still loving it here I just don’t know where the tide goes up to but obviously got these rocks here behind us so I’m hoping that obviously if the tide goes right over there which I don’t think it does you can see like where it has gone up to what if we have to go up there we have to go up there yeah I’ve got plenty of rag I got my rag off me mate David got it yesterday and I tell you what it’s so Lively it’s unreal he went out and dug it the other day and it’s so fresh but yeah I’m hoping for a bass today fingers crossed you never know well if you’re not out fishing you’re never you’re never going to catch anything really so the wind’s picking up a bit as well but I brought plenty of stuff to keep us nice and warm plenty of food especially for the fish but yeah if you watch my videos and You See Me Knocking about town or anything like that don’t be afraid come up to us I don’t mind if I’m out fishing you don’t like me well if you don’t like being on video just let us know and obviously you won’t be on it I understand people are not wanting to be on film but I do all this for just I don’t know it’s but good for my anxiety issue that I’ve got and for my mental health I never thought I’d be able to even have a YouTube channel because of it but I’ve even shocked myself so I’m always pushing myself but I’ve got um on me reel I’ve got 30 mono running all the way through and obviously I’ve got s of bought some already made rigs so I’ve got a two o flapper and a pulley penel on and I’ve got rag on the left hand rod and I’ve got black lug on the right and we’ve we’ve had a fish with a lug up to now but yeah let of me talking I’m going to crack on with the fishing we get any more action hopefully action’s down so we can record I don’t know where he is he’s disappeared he literally has disappeared where’s he G he was up there oh well I have to give him a shout but yeah I’m going to crack on with it [Music] [Music] I St bre it come on w [Music] right well this is what I came here wanted woo oh I bet you it was 20 cm no it was 20 20 something I’m going to check it and then I’ll let you know up for better that was it there we go right well that’s gone safely back I don’t know whether it was a keeper or whatnot but to be honest with you the first B has always got to go backo we just caught my breath back now only it’s been absolutely battering down so I’ve kept my phone in my pocket for now the back I had was £5 and it was 20 in long so I’ll have to look at like whatever centimet I went back as you see and I released it and not keeping my first bat and I don’t even know what the legal size is or anything so I’ll have to look it up but to be honest with you catch and release for me all day especially with them they’re gorgeous yeah I’ve just had Ashton Ashton’s ran up to help Damian out cuz he’s coming up the beach he’s he’s going to be joining us well I’m over the moon oh it was like Christmas morning that I’m chuffed a bit the first B and I probably cut my hand up as well cuz I was that excited I forgot about the spikes so yeah when I was releasing it I completely forgot and just I ended up grabbing the top of it but it’s all good nothing a bit of te LC when to get all on fix all right well we’re coming up to well we are at halfast 3 Damian’s joined us now aston’s munching yeah had no more bites since after we had the bats uh there’s plenty of birds about well they were fly up but yeah the wind’s picking up the rain’s coming in you can see but I’m absolutely enjoying this session I really am I’m ched a bits with a fish of caught up to now hopefully we get a couple more or maybe more than that if we don’t we just still be happy that we can’t them yeah CH a bit but yeah going to crack on with the fishing and uh we’ll just bring you back when we get any more action and hopefully we don’t end up up there cuz this is how far back we are now the fingers crossed we’ll see what happens right here’s Ashton second flat un section not bad one that it’s bigger than the last one oh God near dropped it yeah so you get it Ash I’ll take you hean second flat here the session over the moon eater to be honest with you I thought it was a bass how fast it took it all right let’s get it un hocked and we’ll get it back right well that brings our total fish to three we’ had two fatties and a bass Ashton Reed in his flatter it was Heavy yeah it was Heavy decent size one I think it’s his biggest flatter is it but yeah just fishing on rag now I thought it was a Bas cuzz it proper bent his Rod over didn’t have chance to grab the phone to recording reeling it in but luckily enough for when I caught the B I did I just started recording walked over Mirage you’ll see it anyway in the video but yeah I was quite lucky Damian still here got his Rod out setting up his other one and the weather’s calm down a bit as well as you can see St raining absolutely battered down and we got soing wet as you can tell cuz Ashton’s got his coat on it’s been a smashing session up to now Ashton’s getting bites on his and daman’s just got a flatter do you need um some tweezers as him wear me tweezers oh they’re pemium them yeah so we’ve had four fish between us now n has been getting decent bites on his so we’ll see a pretty decent size flat fish out of there as well right there’s Damian’s first fish for the session be pregnant does it it’s a nice fish spat fish I love catching them me right he’s off really in it should have brought my wers we do wers whatever everyone calls them see how many more we get right well we’re Bob on high tide and Ashton’s watching the England game on his F yeah it’s gone a bit quiet for now so I’m sing wet if you can see that’s what I get for not bringing muers or muis but now I know for the next time I come here all right well as you can probably see it’s raining now well just a bit of drizzle it’s not nowhere near as bad as what it was before I had no new fights or anything since I was last on also the Tide’s starting to like go out now so we’re going to fish it out see what we get with it going out still got plenty of rag oh yeah there quite a bit of weed as well there’s weed all over the place the one thing of U struggled with today the weed Ashton still watching the game soaking wet watching the match so yeah hopefully I can get this video uploaded pretty fast um just getting around to it just finding the time we’ve obviously me having the six kids and Sundays are usually all getting stuff ready for school and all that but so I’m going to try getting it done and getting it out for the middle of the week or hopefully before like I say today obviously it’s the England play Switzerland so it’s the yes si for July can he is him shouting like what was that what was that well yeah I’d rather be out here fishing and watching the game to be honest with you that’s why I’ve just come out fishing too stressful watching England play whereas this is just too relaxing can actually seeing now cuz I’m not recording from the other angle but yeah we’ve still had the four fish and we’re fishing the high out been here since well I’ve been here since half 11 and it’s coming up to near falling up to about half six I think 7 some like that not had a bike in ages I say we had flat fish and the back then two flatfish obviously Damian’s had one flatfish Ashton’s had two and I’ve had the back it’s been quite quite an on andof day with the weather it’s been flattering down spitting windy Sunny just on and off changing from any weather I love it here the best fishing for now it’s very relaxing there’s no people walking up down with a dog reav which is quite nice um you just buy yourself it’s quite tranquil so yeah so if you are watching the video and you do like them um subscribe obviously family stuff landed out for the next 3 weeks and decorating as well so yeah we’re going to carry on fishing see if we catch anything um got the tripod back up obviously but I wasn’t having it up then wave get up Rock no chance yeah g just have sent Aston off to the shop he sto watching England now U so yeah he’s going up to the shop get a pep and I think he was walking down the beach like Neymar because I was just watching him walk then all of a sudden he just hit the deck so I’ve had to ring him and I’m like what you do he like I would running then it fell and I’m like you just fell like neyar like there’s no one around it how the hell you sad but that’s as for you is very um what’s the word it’s over dramatic very over dramatic oh yeah we’re going to carry on fishing see if we get anything else but I’m choed a bits that I’ve got that b really I’m I’m over the moon I’ve never caught one first ever one it’s good fighting I’ve got me fixed now so I’m really happy I’ve got me fixed F jumped out the water a couple of times so I’m choed a bit so and here comes the rain again like I say it was nice and sunny a minute ago now and if you can see I’m going to see if you can see it the weed on my lining so no matter what I do the weed’s just get entangled around me line so yeah oops I’ve not closed one of the legs on the tripod either that’s a good job otherwise the phone would have gone straight on the Rock behind it and know as well uh my next fishing session I’m hoping it’ll be at the Marine I want to do a night session all night PR about 78 in the morning um obiously I’m going to taking action daman’s interested in coming so he wants me to let him know but yeah I just need to figure out a DAT for the time and get it shot I’ve not filmed at the marina well I have filmed my last oh no I’ve not I’ve not filmed at the marina I caught a rat I did a sharks video um but yeah went for a few hours with the kids chucking a few L here and there but I’m going to go and do a full on fishing session over the marina do through the night use rag I use a bit of everything to be honest with you well yeah I just don’t know where the fishing from I don’t really care quite a f happen I’m trying not have a big Rin on my face I I have got a big over it’s like Christmas for me catching that bus yeah right there’s the second B of the session only a schooly b yeah just bit for that you know what I didn’t even realize I had it on there right you can walk there you go right well that’s all done for for the day ready off home we’ve already packed up and we’ve had six fish between us Ashton’s had two flatties Damian’s had two flatties and I’ve had um two BS it’s been a cracking day so obviously I hope you’ve enjoyed the video if you have subscribe give us a like
