Note that as a result of being formed of 2 5-carirage units , there was no quieter coach onboard. I think only the 9 carriage Azumas and the Mark 4 have these .
This was a very well-loaded service between London Kings Cross and Doncaster . A few other trains had been cancelled so I suspect that it why .
After departure from Doncaster, the train was very sparsely populated.
I tried to use eat at your seat but it didn’t work. Staff served me very quickly in the cafe bar instead.
When I used the accessible toilet, I noticed that there was toilet paper all over the floor.
My ticket wasn’t checked other than at the barriers.
I noticed that there was plenty of space for luggage .
Staff were prepared to do anything within reason so that passengers had a more enjoyable journey .
There was a special stop order at Peterborough as a result of other trains being cancelled.
The train was a bit late from Newark onwards due to trespassers.
The air conditioning was very strong.
London Kings Cross Look at the bicycle storage . I’m not sure how you’d even fit the bicycle there. On that note, reserving spaces for bicycles on LNER services is required. Stevenage Peterborough – a Special Stop Order was implemented due to other trains between London and Leeds being cancelled. Grantham – this station is where you change trains to travel towards Skegness. I tried to use Eat at Your Seat but it didn’t work . So I went to the cafe bar and ordered instead . Cash is not accepted. On the approach to Doncaster, I noticed a brand new London North Western Railway class 730. Doncaster- quite a few left the train here. Wakefield West Gate Bins are mostly in the vestibules . I think this is an efficient use of space. Toilet tour There are a few full-size tables . There is some provision for luggage storage . You might have noticed that there are displays for the seat reservations. There is provision for storing large items on the train . The seats on this train. I found them very uncomfortable. There is a provision for plug sockets (1 per seat) Leeds
