I'm planning a bike trip in the first week of October for myself and two friends. We are scattered across Canada and flying to Boston to start/end the trip. We'll have 5 or 6 days of riding to work with and are comfortable riding 80-100 km/day if needed. We've done a few trips together and generally prefer quieter roads or rail-trails but can do some highway riding if needed to get to other good areas.
I found the Adventure Cycling Short Route, which goes from Boston to Providence and then east through Cape Cod, taking the ferry back to Boston at the end. This seems like it's pretty straightforward from a planning point of view with the East Coast Greenway.
Are there any other routes that seem worthwhile? Specifically, is it worth going into Providence before heading east to Cape Cod? I've also read that cycling in Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket can be really nice, but this is probably 1-2 days per island with the ferry and exploring. We might have time for one or the other. Any suggestions on places to camp or bike-friendly indoor accommodations are also welcome!
Thanks in advance

Hi, I see a map next to your post, but I cannot see this image if I open your post. Can you upload this image, or send it to me? It looks like a fun track to cycle. Regards from Holland 🌷
