In January 2023 I cycled from Tramore in south-east Ireland to Mojacar, south-east Spain. This is my first YouTube video created from clips I took along the way.

foreign [Music] [Music] my hometown pretty nice Irish morning and looking forward to getting to the ferry terminal and Ross there and yeah it’s going to be about 80 kilometers cycling today so there’s a small Ferry a passage East here in Waterford on from there on to Ross there to get the ferry to uh Spain so lovely gray morning here but it’s brightening up so looking forward to today’s cycle foreign [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] it’s been raining all morning this morning and heading up into the mountains now and you know my GPS is bringing me on a nice little country detour which is always nice yeah but yeah hopefully it doesn’t turn into too much of a Mudfest oh so I have to say that was a pretty tough day from La Grano heading towards sorry Anna probably gonna touch on 100 kilometers today pretty quickly everything changed and start going downhill and the Sun comes out and starts feeling like a nice evening then so left Seria this morning and it was absolutely freezing because like minus four degrees or something in the forest where I was so I was like a frozen robot packing up my campsite and but I went through Saria this morning had a hamburger and some other things for breakfast so hungry as always but today I’ve been cycling through like green fields and yeah just descending a lot of the way through rolling Countryside and kind of mountain areas too it’s just been amazing I’ve been in the middle of it all this probably feels like the most spectacular day because I’m looking up at everything instead of climbing up through forests and being on top of things [Music] foreign [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] foreign [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] us ually cycling along the eurobello today I’ve joined it just outside and really enjoyed it so far exciting through beautiful Woodland and kind of rock formation very very nice just it’s nice to see some Cyprus too feel like I’m not the only one out here last few days have been a bit a bit divide of other people really [Music] foreign [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] pretty close to Motorway I don’t know if you can hear it in the background um so yeah hopefully my earplugs do the job um there’s not much soil here to camp in so it’s a bit difficult to put up the tent but um yeah it should be a bit warmer now because I’m at a lower altitude so we look forward to get a good night’s sleep and talk to you tomorrow [Music] foreign [Music] [Applause] [Music] up a hill and you need some energy you need to get the chocolate right so hard chocolate probably won’t because what you’re looking for this won’t really melt in here now it’s fast enough and you’ll have to chew it you chewing while you’re exerting yourself trying to get some air it’s not fun now you don’t want it too soft either otherwise it’ll kind of go away too fast just have some chocolate milk or something like that so I think something like a Mars bar is great and I’m saying that because I just had to quite identified for me [Music] so this is my second last day hopefully before I reach my destination so I can find my Camp spot yesterday pretty big day 110k or so down to LG and today I’ll be cycling past morsia and sun is shiny it’s nice and warm and hope to reach the coastline now hopefully all the way along the coast then tomorrow so it should be a nice day cycling [Music] [Music] and there he is do we recognize this man [Music] and there he is mohaka [Music]
