I cycled this route (ish) a few years ago.
Would recommend going to a Croatian island (we went to bar and then ferry from Makarska and over to Mostar) and sticking to the coast a bit, cycling next to lake shkoder in Montenegro and Albania, and getting the ferry across lake komani.
Are you plugging in capital cities to your route?

Hey I’m touring Balkans at moment, just spent 3 weeks in Bosnia. I did Bihac/Banja Luka/Jajce/Jablanica/Sarajevo/Mostar then the Ciro trail to Trebinje then into bay of Kotor Montenegro.
Can’t quite tell from your route but looks like you are planning on going from Jablanica to Sarajevo via the E73 road. Word of warning it was very sketchy – it’s the main route from the coast to Sarajevo so lots of coaches and HGV’s, wasn’t very pleasant.
Would suggest coming to Sarajevo from the North West on the A1 or smaller parallel roads perhaps.
Any Q’s shoot me a DM.

You are missing out on the best thing Croatia has to offer – Velebit and the coast. It’s a shame.
If you’re worried about the cost, well, the beaches have showers and there is plenty of space for wild camping.
