One of these hexagon things fell out, a local shop has an extra but it seems like there’s no way to screw it back in. Should I just superglue the screw to keep the little wheel from falling off?

It would be better to order the replacement part. If you can let us know what model the bike is then I could find the correct part for you. It’s not that expensive.
I think that one is supposed to have a hole – that is, the photo looks fine to me. Is everything still firmly in place right now? Did you try going in from the other side?
I had a look at mine; and on the tensioner the nut is deep inside and if its black its hard to see; mine is silver looking so i see mine; on the opposite side is a cap over the screw head; this jockey wheel can come off for cleaning if you undo that screw under the cap
It is a super cheap part. You could just get a replacement. Otherwise, it is just a nut. There is a screw holding those spinny things on the tensioner, covered by plastic caps.
