New Rockshox Bluto RCT3 Installed on REI DRT 4.1. It required a new crownrace and the steering stem shortened. Also had to shim the wheel with spacers for the disc rotor and axle (135mm to 150mm.) Total cost was around $640 including installation.

Lots of people complain about the bluto, I have the mastodon pro ext and the bluro rct3 and I must say a bluto well serviced is a blast. Hope you enjoy op, what travel?
Cool. I’m saving up for a mastodon pro for my Farley 5. The fat bikes look so awesome with the suspension forks
Do you like the upgrade? What would you do differently?

Up next….a dropper post. I love the Bluto for the volume spacers…enjoy.
I don’t understand “required steering stem shortened”.
That arch clearance seems reeeeally tight. You sure you have enough space there?
