Welcome to Aylesbury, a charming town in Buckinghamshire, England. Unfairly rated as the fifth worse place to live in England as you will see in this video. The town is a blend of historical allure and modern amenities which makes the it a delightful destination for all.

My main purpose of visiting these places is to find out if the ratings are actually true, exaggerated or perhaps incorrect.

I think that’s if I’m being honest with you yeah this town’s lovely I I sort of protect this town as well do you yes oh on my bike I go around just making sure everyone’s safe okay do you get paid for that or no no no I just do it you just do it oh okay back the community well done well done that’s very yeah I read a couple years ago I was like raid one of the worst places but I don’t see why um it’s right that what’s up people welcome back to the channel my name is IMO thank you for clicking on this video um I’m continuing on my quest to visit the top 10 worst places to leave in the UK and today I’m in hillsbury um this town has been rated one of the worst places to leave actually is the fifth worst place to live in the UK and it’s only a little town just in the county of B bam Shire um I’ve come out here to see what the energy is like out here here um and just to see generally what the ratings are saying so let’s [Music] go all right um have you always lived in this town yes I have yeah all your life well originally I well not all my life cuz last year I came from Pakistan okay it’s been kind of hard for me you know getting to grip through this area but I like it it’s very nice but you sound like you’ve been here for I know cuz um I just learned English really well in it ah right okay okay cool so you’ve been here for just a year just over a year yeah just over a year uh so what would you say this town is like say for someone like me that probably just visiting um what would you say about this town um people are very friendly it’s a nice area to be in uh South Court is very friendly it’s a very friendly area yeah uh there’s a there’s a park in South Court which you should visit it’s called Edinburg Playing Fields right I think you’d have a good time there yep okay and in this town there’s like a you know drugs is quite low okay no one really like dabbles in it it’s it’s quite a clean town right okay and what about crimes and stuff like that crime well crime does happen occasionally but it’s people around here are quite nice so happen that much so you say pretty much is a very safe town a very safe Town yes oh okay all right thanks for your time I I sort around this town for the last couple minutes and I’m fascinated I mean I’m thinking in my head why would anyone rate this town one of the worst places to leave I do not understand it because it looks very very nice for a small town um very clean very quiet the people are very friendly um and then right in front of me is like the university Right There and Everywhere is just very clean very organized called restaurant well the up there and that little man so far it looks like an amazing town so I just need to get into the town center to see what it is like in there so let’s go to the town center all right so I’m now walking to what’s the the Town Center let’s go see what he’s like in there maybe you’ll feel you’re and this is what what the Town Center looks like check it [Music] out right so there is this tatue here right there and I’ve been told that statue the music comes out of there sometimes [Music] see that amazing okay let’s keep going let’s go and explore more it’s a decent pretty decent town to be honest and this is the Heart of the City Center it looks desert today obviously the game is on so I’m sure a lot of people have gone to watch the games but wonder what this would look like when there is no match going on there’s a huge what is that this TR was placed here to commemorate the Centenary of the clock tower all right this is a clock tower dope let’s go it’s starting to get a little bit more busier with people walking around around and stuff and obviously you have the the war memorial here as well for the ones that we lost right there okay let’s explore yeah again so one thing I’ve observed as well is the fact that it is very Multicultural just like every other places I’ve been um talk about peterb SL um Bradford very Multicultural so you can find people of all colors and races here um yeah but this is this town looks a bit more peaceful very very clean very organized a lot of food spots you know restaurant and also a lot of places where you can like recreational spots as well where people can just sit down and just have a good [Music] time so I’m wondering in my head why would anyone rate this place that bad as the fifth worst place to live in the UK it’s it’s it’s it’s disappointing oh love this you can tell how small of a town it is with you having the citizens advice Bureau just that small look at that it looks like a very Lial cute office but yeah the architecture is amazing you can see yeah beautiful architecture very well planned out Town um the buildings look okay nothing is being run down obviously the grave cemetery and there’s a church right there such a nice peaceful town I can’t even talk too loud cuz everyone would hear me on this on these streets it’s that quiet man check out the town man check out the town it is nothing compared to a lot of places I’ve been um I mean you’ll be the judge of it look at that that’s like the main road right there and you can see look at lovely buildings look at that amazing architecture SE SE nice to meet you um have you always lived in this town uh yeah pretty much yeah I mean um I I lived just outside near um Wendover okay most my life but then I moved here couple couple years ago so pretty much around it yep hey hey hey hey oh okay yeah so how what would you describe this town to a visor like me coming to explore what would you tell me about this town what would you say um it’s got character to it like it’s um there’s different parts of Alsbury which they’re nice Sun bits which um aren’t so nice you get that everywhere don’t you yeah um but yeah I mean this part of where he is nice it’s nice and quiet obviously it’s near the church so you do get um not a lot of people around here but it’s good yep um in ter in terms of say like economic viability I’m talking about like jobs and things like that would you say um you can find that here yeah I’d say so me you got a go Donuts opening up just down the road and um they’re already sort of advertising for jobs um You’ had Starbucks open as well um the past year or two years and that’s opened up more jobs um there’s like tons of places you state agents which constantly look high so the economy yes it’s good R it okay great um so do you know that this um town has been rated as one of the worst places to leave in the UK yeah yeah I know that it yeah there are parts of A3 which aren’t great um but I enjoy it I quite like it okay cool um but yeah I read a couple years ago it’s like raid one of the worst places but I don’t see why um it’s rated that honest I don’t see that myself cuz I’ve been to like I mean I’ve been to slow um you know so and I came here today and I was like what what’s this written about like don’t get it um yeah okay um would you say you feel safe living here then yeah I feel safe here yeah I don’t um yeah I I wouldn’t feel uncomfortable Ling elsbury especially like the center of town that’s that’s absolutely fine um I know berryfield is just I think it’s Ellsbury but it’s just just outside that’s nice and safe as well um yeah it was safe placey okay um so what would you say in terms of like um house in here so I say this is an affordable place to live I mean my house was two beds three stories and I only paid like 210 for it so and considering like some places two beds are like 300K yeah it’s it’s fairly affordable and um rental prices aren’t that bad either around there so affordability to live is also fine yeah so if if one’s going to rent the room for instance or like a studio flat how much would that go for here oh I’m not not sure about Flats I think maybe like 600 Quid a month 700 a month yep and the room would go for a room not on room no okay okay nice thanks for your time man thanks a lot I appreciate that thank you right so I’ve come to this side of town and there’s like a very big large Park here I think this is where like kids obviously this is where like kids come to play [Music] wow this is massive look at that the whole length of that then you have the the plate area just up there [Music] okay guys now it’s starting to rain um it’s time to get out of here I must say that I’ve been pleasantly surprised by this town um I mean I’m in shock it’s not what I expected okay it wasn’t what I expected when I looked at the ratings I was like oh maybe this going to be like another run downtown and stuff like that but no I’m actually impressed the infrastructures are good they’ve got good transport system as well um everything is you know very organized clean I mean I mean you can see it for yourself in the video anyways
