hello hello hello welcome welcome welcome to another one of our recap well not recap races analysis that’s later on the second day nextra today we are of course another one of our live commentaries and I think you all realize where the race started in fact a few kilometers down the road from where I’m sitting here so yeah very busy rest day uh but we’ve got 133.5 km to go here of the stage there’s a bit of action going on today will of course be a Sprint stage we believe a Sprint is up for grabs there’s four more that’s it and then there’s no more Sprints for the guys but of course the men we’re looking towards it’s bam gay it’s Mark cendes it’s Anor de it’s yasper philipson it’s danan it’s y Fabio yakobson a whole host of riders that could be in the mix here for the stage win that’s what we love about this Sprint sprinting field that we have this year is absolutely packed full of sprinters and we haven’t even mentioned cavia we haven’t even mentioned Phil bouse we haven’t even mentioned Brian Koka it’s oh this absolute incredible sprinting field that we have and uh yeah great to have so many people here already we’re on 140 people welcome welcome I hope you’ve had a good rest day a good Monday um of course we had benum gay the conference we have that over on the cycling day extra channel that was very good to see bie again uh we even went riding with bie and his teammates uh around the area here in laah beautiful area of France and uh yeah they’re very very confident they’re a bit anxious because they’re doing so well but yeah absolutely remarkable what happened so far in the race for bie one of his teammates is out in front in this break we didn’t have a break for a long time here but kin h who’s very good early normally in the in the season he’s up here with Brent vanmour uh the man from Lotto Destiny and then we got a kind of a counter move with Kevin ginet the luxenburg national champion from group FJ together with Valentine madas and Maxim van hilles remember him so these five Riders what can they do here I mean it would be good if uh if lot of Destiny get their two Riders together close that gap of what is now 55 seconds so don’t hold your breath for this Trio of riders we’ve got the intermediate Sprint coming up as well of course this is a huge opportunity for yasper philipson we’ve seen inter maé um being really good at playing the tactics as well we saw gerin Tyson’s being used to block yasper philipson for some of the minor positions and they’re just adding a few more green jersey points here so we got one kilm until that intermediate Sprint and of course the intermediate Sprint top points will be taken by Coen hosen you would think and uh this Lotto Destiny Rider Brent vanur so we’ll wait and see there’s a lot that can happen here but alend kerik they are upping the tempo here in the bunch they know this is do or die they need to get something done here yasper philipson is sitting almost 100 points behind binyam gay in that green jersey classification that was asked yesterday as well how confident are they about the win bie was saying yeah 100 points yeah we have a big lead however two sprints that’s 100 points so you can’t miss out even in these intermediate Sprints the small efforts there’s 20 points available for number one of course that’s going to be wiped Away by the Breakaway five the top five Riders are all Breakaway Riders but that Sprint they will be contesting for the next Echelon of points but um yeah kin hosen the team of bam gay looks like he’s going to be taking the points here so that 15 points does or 20 points does go to an M but not bam gay his teammate and they do take that € 1,500 EUR as well remember we have that prize in every single stage and one kilomet to go here the Sprinter teams look like they’re going to bring back the two gr DJ Riders and that and Maxim gun Hills so are we going to see them contesting for higher points so we the 20 points are gone the the 17 points are gone there are 15 points available uh now right now as the road stand the 20 and 17 gone but they’re going to be brought back here AA BNB hotels they’re getting involved here saner for Albertson de kerik he’s pushing on here they desperately want to get something here where’s the green jersey obum gay this is going to be quite interesting here Macho vapol moving through with yasper philipsson on his wheel Binum Gamay trying to get on the wheel of yasper yasper philipson match B on the right hand side here they’re fighting it out for the 13 points here 13 points yasper philipson opening up here he’s trying to get the 13 points bam gay doing his best here as well it’s a real fight to the line here it looks like it’s going to be yasper philipson takes a 13 points and then benie we’ll have to see from the top the helicopter shot who actually took the placings there but a bit of excitement here 1 minute and 18 seconds still down did gavia here Gava who’s been shaved recently did he manage to do something here to get some points there’s a lot of appetite for the Sprint still many of these Riders are nowhere but from the helicopter shot we can see that bam gay sticking on Philipson’s wheel like on Like Glue gavia trying to come around their train blocked out there then goes around the other side philipson looks around and I think bie just took the second place in the pelaton Sprint there so yes philson takes the 13 points we’ll get our confirmation of what’s going on um and I think coin hosen is on his own here so Brent vanur no not yeah Bren vanur he’s dropped back here so Brent mour has dropped backed and we’ve got a solitary Rider out in front kin hosen into M Ryder coming from Belgium we haven’t really discussed too much about him he’s had a number of big wins in his career he’s taken two wins uh to date but uh yeah kin hen’s one minute ahead of the peleton right now this year sixth place in the Frankfurt uh classic of course that’s quite a big one day race in Germany probably the biggest well you can include the Hamburg race as well so uh yeah the Hamburg race of course is a world tour race but kban hosen last year had some great form in the early Spanish One Day races and he took two of them within the same two days so in the span of two days he took two victories and since then he hasn’t taken any victories so Kuan oans we’re just waiting for him to ignite uh a win again he’s won the too Ura as well back in 2019 I believe that’s a 2.2 race he beat Christian scaroni who’s now with aana as we know and yeah not bad that not bad at all but uh are we going to see Silvan diler he’s at the front here doing that good effort that he’s been doing for uh Alin for this long so far so good for alasin they are trying to just keep this under control I mean now it doesn’t really even matter but how vanh vanhook vanh the Belgian I believe he’s riding for DM now let’s just double check that uh it’s we’ve got a confirmation that he’s oh no it’s he’s in oh I think they got the writers mixed up so it might not have been Brent vanm I think it was Han vanh that was the writer so yeah we’ll wait and see but in terms of the points classification let’s just get that on the board as well because I think that would be quite a good one um yeah is this the updated one let’s make sure that it’s the updated one I think it may not be the updated one we’ll wait for the updated one uh I don’t want to give you the one from the start of the day let’s get you the the updat one but kin hosen is at the front he took the 20 points Hanan haer who everyone thought was Brent vanm he takes 17 points then philipson takes 15 points so I was correct so the total France was wrong and then banie takes 13 points and Gava takes 11 points quite interesting that that we had um cavia getting in the mix there so an unlikely green jersey Contender or whatever I don’t think he is of course he has has he won the green jersey I don’t think he has cuz he that was in the Peter Zan era so he was well and truly not taking that he has of course won the points cation before in the j tire but that was some years ago so uh yeah we’ll wait and see what happens here and it’s all still to play for in this race uh the stage win there can a lot of things can happen today it’s going to be a Sprint there is a very very tricky uh obstacle in the last 700 M it looks a bit unsafe and I’m a bit worried that some of the writers might get caught out uh or it could go well who knows gra fck from Sweden as well and uh what are we saying what I most looking forward to is listening to my all-time favorite commentator and his community it’s privilege to have found this Vlog a thank you f thank you to every single one of you as well great to have almost 400 people in the chat already 126.2 km to go here and remember we had a very interesting day riding with bie on the cycling day action Channel and we also had the interview with bie on the press conference with in my so two bny related videos so I hope if you haven’t already check them out but right now 54 seconds 53 seconds for kin hosen out in front the Belgian doing his best here ah it’s a bit of a nonsense Breakaway in some respect here uh I write right around this area cuz I live in this area that the stage is and the stage is very flat very exposed road so sometimes we can have very bad Crosswinds but I don’t think that’s going to be happening here unfortunately for us all where it looks like it’s going to be quite a processional stage to some respect here and I don’t think the peleton are going to be too eager to doing anything we don’t have any uh well uh mountains Jersey points for grabs unfortun not even a k Cat 4 here you can see that little Spike we have towards the end that would have been great just stick some bonus seconds there and make it a cat cat three or cat 2 or Cat four no you can’t make it a cat two make it a cat four make one solitary Point available there but uh yeah it looks like that’s not meant to be great to have 500 people in the chat let us know where you’re watching from let us know who you think’s going to win as well plenty of you part of the Binum gayi we were seeing uh I was actually there at the start of the stage today plenty of air trains at the start plenty of Colombians plenty of fans just out and showing themselves off um yeah just incredible stuff really and uh are we going to see bny win today stage is that going to be his third stage Victory Mark cish of course is in the mix philipsson is in the mix dlan Alexander Kristoff gavia yacobson dear de it’s crazy crazy isn’t it how much sprinting Talent we have oh i’ would love to see something in terms of uh it’s one of the most competitive sprinting Fields I think we’ve had in a very long time and while vard’s even in there let’s not forget about him but uh yeah everything can happen everything can happen as like Clifton dun as well 74 saying the guys are saving their legs for tomorrow it’s a very tricky profile tomorrow for sure and of course we’ll do the preview the Stage Preview over on the cycling Dane extra Channel and uh yeah apologies for not having the preview or this stage but right now nothing’s happening so it would have been fine um but right now one minute still for Ken hen the teams are extending their recovery rest day to today unfortunately 80% of you believing it’s going to be a Binum gay here and uh what are we saying here as well lame Li yeah no Tim mlia which is a great shame they of course putting all their eggs in the rco Ino basket the white jersey wearer and Stage winner so right now it doesn’t seem too bad to be honest and Jonathan Milan of course he was at the jro daala winning the points classification there and taking some Sprints as well but of course he could have done this race as well gavia he’s did the Jiro and now riding the tour but little track were focused around pills and so it’s a shame that they didn’t bring BR both of them like we’ve seen with inm bringing gin Tyson and bringing benam gamar a two Sprint sprinters and they could have done the same equally maros Scot Nelson and Alexander Kristoff have been brought by Uno X um okay M Scot Nelson isn’t a complete allout Sprinter he’s not as fast as binam gumay but they certainly both have those Punchy characteristics and philipsson uh feels like he’s new he said he recovered well at the beginning here so yeah philipson what what is he going to do here he’s determined to get a stage win he’s one of the big guys who hasn’t taken a stage win um well expected stage he’s the favorite for today as well so despite bam having two stage wins to his name he is not the favorite for today’s stage if you are a betting person and uh yeah we will wait and see if he can repay the faith of the the odd The Bookies the odds makers 46 uh seconds is the gap here to Kin hosen everyone’s taking it fairly steady here and uh yeah we wait to see if we are going to see someone take the win in terms of the sprinters are we going to see a catastrophic stage that will I’ll bring up the profile as well the last uh 700 MERS because it is not good it is not a good profile but that little Spike we can see as well towards the end that could be quite favorable for uh Binum gay potentially if uh they can ramp the pace up here but Binum what can he do here bie bie bie is it going to be his day today he was very calm yesterday very nice just yeah about the importance of his victories to atrea to Africa etc etc I really does know the place he has the importance he has within within the sport and this symbol for a n well not a nation for a a continent and uh yeah he also said something incredible apparently there was a million tickets for the road race the National Road Race there was a million tickets and they all sold out that’s ridiculous crazy the the importance of cycling in in air tray and uh yeah was talking about opportunities as well what are we saying here Mike have you heard of this Toral France journalists have shared what’s WhatsApp group and this is warning have been given that thunderstorms wind Gus over 90 kilom come in two hours wow wow wow wow did not know that yeah that’s going to be terrifying if they we have wind gust of 90 km coming up o well uh let’s see what happens but great to have so many people here make sure to hit the like button if you haven’t already and subscribe to the channel if you’re new here and if you want to see more of bam gay check out the pin comment of the rest day where I found myself riding with him and his teammates and yeah it was great to see B um yeah got away from him of course we’ve had three interviews with him on the channel already so if you didn’t know me that would be a bit of a shame really coin hosen say is being brought back so yeah his day is over it’s wet now it’s raining a bit and uh nobody really wants to do anything in this Breakaway so yeah it’s one of those days it’s like watching football or paint dry or golf take your pick that is what we’re seeing here but we know as a community to fill these blank spaces of action enri mass in there as well we saw that intermediate Sprint uh earlier on today yasper philipson and B bie just sticking on philipsson like glue that was great bie almost just getting caught out but he is of course Very uh very very experienced in this Sprint and gavia almost just pipping him on the line there for the points but uh only two points of an advantage here only two points of an advantage it’s all still to play for in this race H but right now wet roads that’s going to be a bit alarming for the peleton here nobody wants to be caught out no one wants a crash and uh yeah 121.4 km to go we started in oon my current adopted City beautiful city there was a lot of people out and uh yeah bie everyone everyone having a nice time just setting off in glorious weather but right now yeah they is yeah yores is making his way through the the car Convoy here cuz he had a a mechanical there bam gay as well with uh with yasper Phillips and those two Rivals just not looking at each other but no one saying anything here the two who wants the Green jersey and who’s going to take it is it going to be bie is it going to be ASA philipson by the time we come Denise of course it’s not just about them it’s also about avoiding crashes also about avoiding crashes a Don is saying don’t disrespect golf H um we could do that as a poll which is the most boring one to watch uh flat stage over the Toral France where nothing happens but uh yeah great to have so many people in the chat and do let us know where you’re watching from as a as always it’s a pleasure to have so many people around the world and sharing our love of cycling 120.5 km to go here the number one yonis vingo and taraga there’re towards the back end of the Pelon here wet day but nobody nobody’s got the ring cat out so I think it might have rained before them and it’s just wet roads so yeah um 20.3 km 20.3 km is beanie the next Peter scan yes we’ve talked about that a lot actually of course Peter scan is his big Idol and I mean right now he’s doing a a great job of um riding like PES again as well we can see Alexander Christo we can see yonis vingo here D tacha tacha the yellow Jersey where uh very aggressive in on the gravel and of course there was that narrative as well after the stage that um they said that jonis vingo was riding too defensive he wasn’t um yeah willing to risk it he had no balls which I was like the guy crashed in the Torah Bas country he didn’t even know if was going to be at the start line of course he’s going to be defensive you’re the aggressor you’re the one who knows where your form is this guy didn’t race a single meter since his tour of the bass country crash so yeah bit of a shame as well yonis bingo at the start line ignoring Danish TV so I thought that was a bit of a shame um all the other Danish Riders talked to them but uh yeah uh many of you hoping as well uh yeah Phillipson avoid any deviations in the final Sprint of course that’s been a bit of a concern for many of you great to have Kenny as well from abedine very north of Scotland and uh hopefully it’s not raining there either uh what are we saying as well if it rains right now I’m hope all the Riders finish the race safely I hope no one gets hurt cycling can be a very dangerous spot yeah for sure and I think we were reminded about that last week as well uh when unfortunately um Andre the young Norwegian Rider lost his life in the tour of Austria that was very very sad uh I think the Uno X team are still paying tribute as well with a black tape around their arm so yeah that was a bit of unfortunate uh tragic news uh for all the cycling world to receive and such a upand cominging rider had already won seven stages this year and was due to be joining jco YULA but yeah this sport is vicious it can be very dangerous at times and even gomea last year so yeah but right now 18.6 km there’s plenty of people on the road even asterisk look alikes here as well uh samik aana Kazakhstan sadal Quick Step in your screen is they’re all towards the front here and the pace right now is 35 km so anyone who knows how to cycle on a bike can follow this pace I would say so uh yeah we will wait and see what happens here it’s uh all still to play for for the stage honors of course cuz no one well we won’t know until the last 200 MERS uh he was in po position or we might even not know until the final meter many of the Sprints have been close but Bay as we said Dyan hen Mark CES already having one stages on a dele coming very close on a dear desperately wants a stage um anony CH is not a sprinter but got that stage win on the gravel stage that was a tear up for the books wasn’t it who thought that coming if anyone put money on that that would have been yeah funny we’re seeing betol here and tyat talking uh the Italian national champion and the current leader of the total France um never never been teammates of course Alberto Beto 2019 winner of the Tour of France um not the Tour of France the tour of uh Flanders tour of Flanders and uh yeah guys please pedal harder uh they were going harder on the rest day here they were going a lot harder on the rest day there is no group there is one group The pelaton that is our only group on the road right now we had a breakaway early on but nobody’s doing anything they’re using this as an extended rest ride right now recovery ride but of course they have got that stage tomorrow that is quite exciting and uh yeah I hope you all join us for that as well and uh mechanical here mechanical bike change everything’s calm so uh yeah Joseph as well joining from Richmond s side over the 2015 World uh yeah the road World Championships let us know if you watch that um because that was oh Ben Turner here Ben Turner on the road he was the one having the bik change here um yeah we will wait and see here what is going to happen Ben Turner ruler type uh what are we saying can you ask to change yeah I don’t know it wasn’t really that important that message but Ben Turner doing his best here to stay get back into the bunch 117 kmers still to go here are we going to see a stage win uh what are we saying as well uh huni is saying uh hutchi is saying that’s still 21.7 miles an hour I bet a lot of people can’t do that pace okay fair enough fair enough maybe I was being a bit uh too I don’t know optimistic I mean if you’re in this bunch and if you’re in a big peleton you’d be surprised how fast you can go with very little effort because the drag the whole drag obviously we know the drag aerodynamics and uh it’s very easy to get dragged along by this big hole that this big group of riders punch in in the air and then you just drift along but great to have so many people here in the chat let us know where you’re watching from of course and uh yeah I think we need a new poll here uh not the most interesting stage this is stage you would show your friend that doesn’t like cycling to try and convince them here um yeah aana Kazakhstan as well uh aana kazak yeah of course Mark hdis they want another Victory they’re not just well they’re not content with one they want more they want even more so uh can they do it that remains to be seen but right now it’s looking well mission complete they anything anything uh other than what what they’ve already achieved would just be a bonus uh Mark hdes may be taking another stage win that could be on the cards if if the right opportunity rolls around that could certainly uh do something but are we’re going to see a stage win from him again that could be a poll will Mark cish win another stage um will camish candish win another stage yes or no easy one easy easy easy so binary poll either yes yes or either no great to have snoopy as well right from California great to have so many people around the world let us know who you think’s going to win the stage many of you going for bamai obviously CU plenty of you are Air Tran but 115.5 km the Pelon is doing absolutely nothing it’s an easy ride for them they’re taking it very cautious and we’ll see if anyone is going to throw the gaunet down before we get into that juicy part of the stage the last 20 kilm that might be where we see the pace really ramp up and yeah the real duel between the sprinters teams will get a profile up as well with the with the final one and let’s see there’s a detail about the alerson uh the alerson um cars as well or the bikes huh I don’t know we’re seeing alperson they’ve got apparently a secret weapon that’s what the Euro Eurosport repor is saying um but is it going to work of course we know a lot of tech is unveiled from um from the various teams because this is the biggest shop window for the sport and yeah we’ll see uh what are we saying as well Mike if we hit the like button as you we come into the channel the algorithm will recommend the channel to more and we will have an even better chat hit the like button thank you Mike as well for that butth yeah the stage 114.65 jaula will be very happy with that d corovan stage win despite losing Simon Yates from the GC of course they were probably not thinking that the Brit was going to be doing too much because the team didn’t really lend itself to uh too much support to him in a way but yeah far down in the GC but they certainly will look for more stage opportunities interestingly he was not really involved in that intermediate for the green jersey he’s probably thinking more I want to take stage wins I don’t really care about the green jersey a lot of sprinters are like that why do you why do you want to put so much exposure to or energy invest so much for a green jersey that you’re probably not going to win anyway so rather save the few bullets that you have in your legs and then go for it when it’s the big prize the stage win but yeah Dyan 52% of you are saying Cav will take another win so uh yeah Cav is he going to take another Victory and uh yeah no real action happening here okay BNB of course they’re going to be very happy with that Kevin wlang stage that we saw um in terms of yeah into San LCA and bologna they’ve had such a varying terrain already in this years to France grael Hills mountains the galib even a time trial and here we are only on stage 10 flat terrain no no mountains Jersey points unfortunately inos Grand is here towards the front are they going to be happy with their first week um Mark as well looking for more success today but that chaotic bit of Sprint is going to be interesting DSM feric towards the front here as well they’ll be quite happy about their first week or their first day that one two on stage one and getting the yellow Jersey very very popular that but of course by struggling a bit in the GC so uh yeah we’ll wait and see if he can do something here we seeing Steven Williams as well we were hoping for a bit more from him he took a couple of mountains Jersey uh well Sprints if you can call it that and yeah that poka Jersey that will be an exciting one to follow are we’re going to see the big guns here in the second week Tomorrow there’s a lot of points up for grabs here as well so some of the teams could get in the mix I was talking to Lou minky and of course we’ve interviewed him on the cycling day extra Channel he’s the man who rides with bie one of his teammates the South African former top 10 in the total France former top 10 in the wel I believe as well he took a stage win in 20 22 was it but uh he I was asking him why don’t you just go because you’re not in the GC really why don’t you just go for the Poo Jersey then he said well Scott you have to think it needs to be the right guys if I’m in there with Chone I can’t drop him on the climb so that means that I need to get rid of him I can’t outsprint him either so I have no way to get rid of him if he is in the group with me so that’s yeah they of course know each other very well the racing Dynamics so that’s maybe why some of these guys choose to not go after that Pogo Jersey Simon Yates I would love to see Simon Yates go for that Pogo Jersey of course a for former white jersey WN winner so is his brother Adam Yates um but yeah Simon Yates fourth place finisher last year eal his the best result for his brother since well before his Podium uh place last year but uh Simon y sits 27th right now 27th in GC quite far back but of course we know breakaways can change change that position quite quickly he dropped 10 places on that gravel stage he sits 15 minutes and 57 seconds down that man just screams Breakaway opportunity there 16 minutes down on the GC that is certainly something that could uh yeah I think he could be in the mix if he wanted to cater pass as well 17 minutes 53 seconds that is quite far down uh yeah who else in that yeah Lou mes that we talked about 18 minutes and 53 seconds Chris Harper as well uh Warren bangil of course a former winner of that competition Roman bade ran bade is 29 minutes and 28 seconds down so maybe we’re going to see him trying to H just attack that Jersey a bit wow I didn’t think Roman bade was that far down into yeah R he sits 14th with three points in that classification right now of course it is abrahamson who leads it with with 33 points the Norwegian 13 points ahead of tacha I hope we don’t see another tacha yellow PO got out jersey double cuz or it was a triple when he did it because he also had the white jersey on top of that so um yeah it’s all still to play for here it’s all still to play for um Ben is saying as well any idea why blaz of DNS I think that might have been because of the crash yeah that was a big loss for Red Bull B Hans Alexander vazov he was going to be a lieutenant for RIT or was trying to but yeah not quite going so well but 110.4 km to go no Breakaway out in front we saw a bit of uh action from kin hosen from uh H Han van H uh we saw yeah K DJ trying to get up there as well but nobody’s out in front so nobody wants that free publicity that we talked about and uh yeah we’ve kind of dissected that as well we did a bit of an analysis why that is why is that why is there no breakaways out in front that’s because many of these teams have actually brought sprinters here this is a flat stage but there’s hardly any teams that don’t have a sprinter in your screen is no Sprinter but they’re riding for GC so they’re not going to waste resources there uh UAE likewise are not going to be raising resources and then it gets pretty thin in terms of other teams that don’t have uh don’t have U yeah the last time we were here in Sant amand monton Monon that was very bad Mark cish took the stage win as a British champion in 2013 we had that epic stage with cross wins and yeah that was one of the stages of the tour history I would say uh yeah uh Breakaway no no breakway yeah break GC Breakaway cross winds is that going to happen today Mike was telling us that there is apparently alarms of 90 90 km winds coming up in about well an hour and a half I guess now so uh yeah we’ll see what happens here in the stage today inter maray lining up here towards the front as well Binum gay a bit isolated in the Pelon right now but the pace is very slow it’s very slow nobody’s going all out right now and all the estimates of the speeds are certainly going to be underestimates cuz I think uh yeah this speed is uh very slow so 11 uh years ago that was when Mark Hamish won as part of the quickstep team and uh yeah that was 11 years ago when he was riding for Quick Step so yeah in terms of riders out we have got uh we haven’t got a full crop of riders plenty of riders have left the toour France already but it’s a lot less than last year at this point so uh riders that left uh mes Pon didn’t start stage eight after of course having a bad crash uh Kasper Pon as well same name well same surname not related and from Denmark didn’t start in stage four he also had a bad crash what is it with the Danish guys isn’t crashing here um then of course vazov we talked about him also leaving M Meli gadoli leaving on stage one the Italian crashing on Italian soil so you can see it’s not actually that many people who have left the race uh quite surprising that yeah four five Riders that’s pretty good that is pretty good you have to say is that because they’ve avoided crashes is it because yeah what is that down to who knows 53% of you believe it is going to be a stage win for Mark cdes and uh we’ll wait and see uh who’s going to take the win today is he is he going to be today is number 36 going to be arriving today or will we ever see number 36 that REM remains to be seen but uh yeah that POA Jersey is certainly an exciting one uh who will win the oh wait actually will will abrahamson abrahamson win the polka dot Jersey polka dot Jersey so the current polka dot Jersey do you think he’s going to be winning it yes or no another one of our binary polls 107.7 kilm still to go here we’re seeing Mikel meru who’s retiring at the end of the year the very experienced leader man and Olympic champion on the track uhan beral towards the front here as well for yansen another one of the Danes there are plenty of Danes in this race as well we certainly do pack a punch for a small nation and yeah who’s going to take the stage today that’s the question we’re going to be asking ourselves all the way to the Finishing Line because the Riders have decided to negate any excitement for us the viewer The Listener the fan 107.2 km towards the front we’ve got alerson we’ve got jaula aana Kazakhstan in as well Wy Binum gay is he going to make more history here two stage wins already and yeah what a absolute symbol of a Nation he was also saying that apparently during after he won the G wgam race his phone absolutely lit up with messages over 6,000 messages crazy 6,000 messages on your WhatsApp imagine that I think my phone would just give up and stop uh so yeah we’ll wait and see uh Amon as well saying um I’m trying to recover from Hangover listening from California welcome welcome plenty of you across the pond as well 106.5 we’re just seeing Neils poet the UAE man former German champion of course so far so good from him a new Rider to uat memores this year and maybe he might be part of the winning team at the total France that’s certainly an Accolade many riders want if they can’t win it it’s certainly if they the type of Rider he is it would be quite good to get a a win within the team is Ty Bates yeah is he going to lose out or we can see Remco Veno win this race he’s looking very good as well very very close still uh of course we know yanis Bingle is riding into this race after sustaining very bad injuries don’t forget don’t we can’t not play down these bad injuries that he’s had absolutely remarkable that he was even at the start line here and even being up there on the Mountain uh stages certainly was incredible so uh yeah inter maé uh sudal quick step towards the front here sudal quick upep of course not bringing a sprinter this year we’ve been so accustomed to them having a sprinter at the Toral France Marcel k Mark Mark CES gavia uh yakobson Etc so yeah Quite A peculiar point that this classic team not having a sprinter so yeah um are we going to see a stage win from Binum from uh yasper philipson oh Gambia okay Gambia that’s a hard one do I know that the capital of Gambia I don’t think I have this one I don’t think I have this one Gambia Gambia cap Gambia anyone open we’ll open it up to the comments as well ah it’s going to annoy me laka which one’s that again ah anyway that just proves how the stage is going when we’re trying to figure out the capital of a African country but into M sodal quickstep Jula AA BNB that’s your teams at the front v l back towards the front as well aana Kazakhstan as well so that’s your front teams just ever so slightly increasing the pace as well uh mosone of course very good we’ve got land up towards the front as well the top 10 oh there we go banjul oh that’s annoying lakov of course not that one uh but the top 10 the top 10 of this year’s to France we had of course a bit of change in the GC we did the recap race analysis over on the second day extra channel on the podcast tacha is leading currently with 33 seconds 1 minute and 15 well actually I’ll put it on the stream so we can look at that while nothing is happening on the stream right now or on the screen we’ll get you the top 10 there was a bit of a change of of course number 11 has dropped out and that was vazo Vash of very bad crash very very bad crash so that was a bit of a shame I also happened to bump into chrisan prudom yesterday so that was quite a funny moment the bus of of the yeah to France um I’m not yeah I don’t think he knows our little community so uh yeah it’s fine we can live with that as long as he organizes the biggest bike race in the world we’re fine he does need to know what the cycling Daye is and uh yeah right now tacha of course as we said leading this race now you got the top 10 in front of you 103.7 km still to go here of the race and yeah right now it’s looking very interesting great to have 800 people in the chat and bny everyone everyone’s okay nobody’s in trouble everyone’s taking it easy just taking in the sites and yeah everything to play for if you want to see me riding with bam gay yesterday make sure to hit the like button well yeah hit the like button anyway but check out the link with bie on the rest day and right now sadal Quick Step into ma they are the teams at the front here um the pace just possessional Pace jonis vingo up towards the front as well but lemon uh the former Soldier he’s up there as well and uh yeah we wait and see we’ll wait and see but right now we’ve got the top 10 tacha leading the race of course at the start of this second week 33 seconds ahead of rco Vino and 1 minute and 15 seconds ahead of yonis vingo the two-time defending Champion vingo has a margin of 21 seconds to his old teammate Primus RIT and then juuzo is the second UAE Rider here in the top five 2 minutes and 16 seconds he’s only one second away from his other teammate joa Almeida and then Carlos Rodriguez finds himself behind three UAE Riders the inos grand Riders sitting at 2 minutes and 31 seconds mikanda sudal quick steps Lieutenant to Remco venol he sits 3 minutes and 35 seconds down and Derek G moved five places up after being in the Breakaway and yeah ninth right now 4 minutes and 2 seconds 1 second ahead of his North American rival of Matel y so that top 10 littered with a number of lieutenants and Mountain domestics there for the other teams and uh yeah could be quite exciting Derek G don’t know what he’s going to be doing of course Adam Yates moves up into 11th courtesy of lazov going out the back bernau as well knocking on the door for a top 10 position Julia jaor as well 14th Santiago Bago in 15th Bill ba in 16th Felix gal uh 6 minutes and 6 seconds down so I mean the top 10 the lower top 10 potentially could be a quite an interesting little narrative to follow great to have so many people here great to have Rob here one of our uh channel members we will of course do some uh more competitions as well for you guys we have currently got a competition on the cycling Daye action channel so get involved in that and uh make sure to subscribe to that channel let’s try and get to a th we’re very close now very very close so um yeah uh do I have a straw profile I do but I don’t upload anything unfortunately anymore uh I’ve been a bit lazy about that so uh what are we saying here big unit cycling I am so jealous you got to ride with gai gai very nice guy uh we’re I’m a bit personally a very big fan of him uh because he’s such yeah nice guy you saw it on the interview as well yesterday uh on available on the cycling Dan extra Channel if you haven’t seen that uh very humble very very but he knows his place as a a mascot well not a mascot as a hero a symbol of of inspiration as well so uh yeah the Olympics of course coming in France shortly as well we’re just getting a reminder of that in Paris not far from here and uh yeah many of these Riders might actually get involved B was talking about the Olympics as well that he wants to do something here and yeah Janet Wood saying as well keep them gu ing Derek yeah what is Derek G that is quite a headache for Israel Premier Tech uh maybe they were just thinking that he’s going to be doing a GC I mean they’ve never had a top 10 in GC by the end of the race and if Derek G could do that that’s quite a big result for a pro Continental team yes we know they’re a bit of a pseudo Continental team but Derek G would also be the last well first Canadian to do that a top 10 since Ryder Haile so that would be quite a big scalp there for the Canadian if he can do it but great to have a thousand people in the chat uh what not we’re seeing pictures from him we’re just seeing slow MOS and that’s when you know nothing’s happening so the pelaton very much taking it a bit calm binam gay sitting very tight in there and doing his best to keep out of trouble we’re seeing matcho and rank Veno the two well two superstars from their Nations we’re also seeing Alex aruro with ion isir not quite that happy to see the camera for whatever reason and yeah plenty of riders up here getting involved in the action well not really there’s no action very calm this is a glorified rest ride for the Riders so um yeah we’re going to see a stage win here we’ve also got uh South American corner here of bam gay k pass and uh Santiago Bago so yeah very funny that very funny um but anything can happen in the stage today anything can happen still anything anyone can win in this Sprint we said so many so many riders uh are in contention here Brian Kar would desperately love to take a stage win is he going to do it um cofidis haven’t taken a win this year in terms of the total France of course they had two t stage wins last year with Victor laf and Ian isira ending that drought since 20 8 100 km that’s all that separates us from the Finishing Line This is certainly an interesting well right now it’s not now it’s like watching a football game in my opinion and uh yeah who’s going to win this stage anyone’s BET right now bookies will are saying yes for Phillipson desperately Wants Revenge for getting relegated not beating Benny that Sprint that we saw on stage what was it stage six stage eight stage eight lucky number eight where banie took the victory that yeah almost similarly stage 8 2023 and Stage 8 2024 yasper philipson losing out to a sprinter with a bit more of a uphill kick with MES pson and then bam gay this year so interesting greater bil’s in the house as well let us know where you’re watching from with a flag let us see all all those flags light up in the comment section and if you’re new here why not subscribe to the channel hit the like button and get involved in the chat we’re a very friendly bunch here 99 km to go 99 km that’s all so our Quick Step up towards the front here uat memor as well of course they are the yellow Jersey team and yeah we’re seeing Eve Lampard a man who’s worn the yellow jersey in the past that was in Danish soil and uh still yet to do so on French soil has also taken that stage win that was back in 2022 uh s Quick Step already having won a stage so yeah job well job done so far job done so far um yeah they want more they want the white jersey they want the the project of Remco Veno it is the project Remco as Patria has said they want him to do as good as he can be the man to win or end that drought for the French of course the two of the biggest countries in the world the French and the Belgian in terms of cycling prowess have not tasted success in terms of yellow Jersey victories for a very long time I believe what is it for the French 1985 and 1978 for the Belgian so that is a long way back long long way back I can’t remember 1985 because I wasn’t even born many of you might know even have been born either many of you might not even been interested in cycling if you were alive Ben Healey we’re seeing him here the Irishman EF education easy post I so well I don’t know I don’t know how they’re going to be judging this first week of the tour uh because they did hold the yellow jersey with kapas but kapas he needs to have his well tpia remember that when he won what was it three stage wins oh that would have been great and yeah oh as Rob says as well when when there is a LOL in the racing it just means I get to shine with stats and chats yeah that was very true 97.2 kilm to go DSM feric I had to I actually bumped into DM DSM Fermin yesterday as well uh got shouted that by Roman B uh because he wanted me to join in so I joined in and they were going absolutely well very hard Pace from them so they were certainly not taking a rest day and DSM of course Roman B and Fabi acson have appeared on the Cy day extra Channel very nice guys both of them and yeah that was probably the a weird funny highlight getting shattered at by ran in a friendly way of course encouragement that’s the way you you would call it bar and mcores as well there are a team that would want more out of this if I’m honest um yeah which team has been your disappointment in the first week what team has disappointed you the most in that first week H what team won’t be happy I mean this Melissa bike they’ll be quite content I think with having yoris in third place UAE of course will be very happy sadal very happy inmay very happy jaob very happy aan very happy a and bu is very happy Israel primatic yeah probably as well with um with Derek G sitting so high up I think they’ll be quite happy about that maista H second place with gavia that’ll be quite comforting but their man enrik M out the GC picture so that’s a bit of a worry stal uh well total eneris who I thought was not going to be winning anything I think uh he’ll be very happy about this or they will be very happy not he there’s no he DSM of course fairly satisfied as well cuz that victory was a great one a one2 on the first stage getting that yellow Jersey I think they would have t signed up to that every single opportunity if that means that they don’t do anything else with the rest of the remaining of the tour of course yakobson will hope that he can do something here uh because he is such a big star um in his own right he commands um so much attention as well and of course that great Narrative of him coming back uh from that horrific crash in 20120 first stage in the tour of Poland as we know but yeah disappointment we’ll say that or unsatisfied let’s go with a more less negative word what team will be unsatisfied with their first week we get a poll there as well little Trek they could maybe be one of the teams um yeah most unsatisfied most unsatisfied fied team Uno X for sure uh team from the first week there you go uh what’s going to happen in today’s stage that is anyone’s guess here Asana we can’t put them on because of course they take a stage win yeah there’s been a lot of sharing of stages the only team taking two stages of course is uh bie so B the only man who’s tasted success alasin are they going to be we can put alason in there M Star as well uh little Tre who else Bahrain barin that’s probably a good one barin victorus I think they won’t be too happy about this of course they’ve got mate morit they’ve got yeah they’ve got quite a uh box of tricks of teams but I think these four teams is are probably the teams that well fdj we could have thrown them in there as well but yeah they are the teams that have not tasted success in a stage they haven’t worn a Jersey yasper philipson getting top three results there but yeah but as I was saying earlier as well um I saw the start of the toal front stage today because it’s very close to where I am right now and uh yeah it was just there’s so much hype for the stages to come your town or whatever the When You See It announced in 2 well in November when it normally gets presented and then it just disappears after that absolute party of the the carousel or whatever you call it uh yeah then it just goes and then the race is gone the race is moved on and it’s on to the next chapter in the race of the Edition so yeah it’s a bizarre feeling to be honest you you build up you build up you build up that the start comes the day is here and then bang it’s over and you aren’t going to see that um yeah so uh crazy that crazy crazy crazy uh Rob saying as well in m is the biggest winner of the first week yeah for sure for sure uh there was so many people not thinking Binum was going to take a stage win the well we have been talking a lot about beanie but uh yeah the love never disappeared on this channel as we know but plenty of people had just forgotten about bie after the jro as well there was a crash there after the Tor flandes crash as well yeah but back in the warm books with the press and yeah 93.2 km to go here and uh who’s going to take the stage win great job paty as well p d and what is happening nothing nothing is happening is the headline right now the bunch is taking this as an extended rest ride and uh yeah of course we’ve got 1100 people in the chat let us know where you’re watching from and if you did miss it I happen to be riding with binam gay on the rest day so check that video out and we’re very very close now to 1,000 subscribers on that channel 830 something so uh we only need 170 people to just click subscribe and then we hit a of course it’s free it’s absolutely free honor dele as well saw him at the start of line or the start line and he’s of course somebody who will want to take a stage win we I didn’t include them in the most disappointed because I mean he is a very young Sprinter he’s 22 years old so of course uh him being up there getting some good results getting experien as well his first of gr tour and yeah we’ll see what he can do but right now in a poll 52% of you have gone for alasin being the most unsatisfied team from the first week and I think that is pretty much that is pretty much uh a summation a fair summation I think they have the green jersey wner he won four stages last year they have the world champion they are here to win stages they want to do something here they want to be the Kings so uh yeah remember we wait to see what happens but 92 km to go visis into m s quickstep in your jcoa Al BNB and aana Kazakhstan those that is your front row of this year’s well the peleton here on the stage and uh yeah stage win dies up for grabs here and anyone can HP well anything can happen we know that the sprinting field is so uh tight and uh yeah will it be one well will it be a new Sprinter taking the stage win who knows will it be yeah Fabia yakobson desperately wants to take a stage one as we know but Brian Kar Anor dear Anor Dee uh Phil bous you see what I mean it is true though we are missing those two top sprinters of Tim willia and Jonathan Milan as we discussed earlier as well but it’s it’s yeah it’s a mouthwatering field of sprinters here and bny is so far the best Sprinter having taken the most stage is this year toal France and he was asked exactly that in the press conference over on the cycling day extra channel are you the best Sprinter in this year’s race and he didn’t really want to say it he was like no there’s different layers to it so he was being very diplomatic about it so that that was very nice we’ve got an updated points classification as well so I’ll try and get that to you as well uh from our interor Sprint that we had about 35 kilm ago so we’ll have a look at that uh yeah beanie losing two points to yasper philipsson because yasper philipson took the most points available after the Breakaway Coen hosen and haran H uh taking number one and two yeah we had a breakaway we no longer have Breakaway so uh yeah bit of a shame there but uh yeah the Anthony Tois the unlikely stage winner on Stage Nine we’re seeing him wow just imagine the odds if you even put a solitary Euro on that I think you would be quite happy with your your award what what you got back from that but yeah great to have so many people here if you’re new subscribe to the channel and Elizabeth Franklin uh Mara as well Phil Simmons plenty of new names in in the subscription box we’ll get your names to flash up as well but yeah welcome welcome and we’ll see what happens on today’s stage we eagerly anticipating a a Sprint so uh that should be good to see uh is it going to be another binam gay stage Victory are we’re going to see some ay baji going on towards the Finish as well because we know that we have got a very tricky finale we’ll talk about that in a while cuz we have G got a lot of time to fill because these guys have decided this is not going to be the hardest Pace I think the organizers missed a trick as well by making it not too technical this um yeah this uh we’ll wait to see but uh many people are nervous that uh yasper philipson I mean it is a nickname that has been haunting him he said it in the Netflix documentary as well and yasper just disaster he prefers to be called yasper the master of course a yasper philipsson has taken a lot of wins in his career already and uh yeah has been he he rode for UAE don’t forget that he was part of early on as well The BMC development team when BMC was a thing in the professional Pelon then went to the Hagin Burman Axion team the pro well they were proon inal team on that Year’s Edition or that Year’s season he’s taken for 46 victories to his name so far 26 years old he’s from aam in Belgium and of course he won Milan Sano this year he won he defended his buger depan classic title still to take a stage winning this year’s to of France finishing second on nine occasions in the in his tour to France career that is incredible nine times he’s tasted second place of course two of them being on stage eight in 2008 in 2024 and 2023 so number eight isn’t quite that lucky for him he took a stage win Before the Race as well in the Belgian tour he was second in skel de PRI second in parro Bay of course to his teammate losing out skeler PRI to Tim merlia and third place on that day was uh Dyan kovan the stage winner already on this year’s Edition Dyan is going to be very happy about that that was a great great win for him and yasper philipson yeah unfortunately a lot of bad publicity already after getting relegated this year uh in that Sprint where he boxed in W not there that was of course the day that bam took the win as well was that not am I mixing up two ones but uh yeah it’s uh yeah it’s a a long day still 87.9 km they’re still just increasing the pace and uh I we’re going to see a new team into the chat in terms of stage victories that remains to be seen plenty of these teams having a bit of a lull they would want something marar not taking a stage win lot of Destiny as we said no stage win there but we can put the caveat that it is a pro Continental team and of course Uno X they would desperately want to stage never taken a stage win in the in the history as a team the pro Continental team hoping that they are going to be uh becoming a world tour team as well but I think they will have a bit of a wait uh before that happens because it looks like lot of Destiny and Israel premere Tech are in the prime position to be uh promoted to the World Tour here on the expense of what teams aan and Kazakhstan could be one of the teams despite almost nailing down a new sponsor apparently a Chinese cycling manufacturer cycling something they are the ones that are linked with the kazak uh Squad so 86.5 km still to go that team exactly opposition on the left hand side of the road Mark camish will want a stage win again AA BNB they will want another stage win with dear this time Kevin VLAN what a stage wict Tre that was in stage two wow wow wow from a breakaway that was iconic from him 86.6 um also ag2 they are one team we could have stuck in their disappointment or the unsatisfied box here uh they haven’t taken anything really uh Felix gal not in the top 10 here of course he was in the top 10 last year and winning the hre de Grange Prize last year as well but uh yeah who’s going to be uh being able to take something for them s benett in here of course as well we haven’t really touch on him but he’s another Sprinter carried looks like he’s in some good form here so is he going to be tasting their success today that would be a great narrative to say the least uh Mike saying as well sidewind now reported to be 20 km an hour o that might start to get a bit tricky for the Riders so uh yeah are they going to be a bit nervous about this inos graders V Malisa bike okay the pace have has come up now so we’re around 42 43 km an hour so it’s looking a bit more um what we’re used to now a bit more like we’re used to for the bunch but 58 km to go there is potential for uh cross wins Tom Peacock towards the here he’s going to be a bit disappointed about his first week he would have wanted to be up there in the mix but they’re all in for Carlos Rodriguez in your screen is this is the man to potentially got our top five potentially get a yeah Podium that seems a bit unrealistic but certainly a top five could be in the mix that polka do Jersey yeah who knows echelons are we going to get them that would be great to see uh yasper the disaster he can’t accept his defeat I mean yeah yasper is a very nice guy off the bike uh of course these sprinters they have to be yeah they have to do well they don’t have to be weaving the line but the pressures yeah bit unfortunately that W vard ins didn’t and also him getting relegated in that Sprint Co cost him a whole load of Sprints here so yeah 85 km that is all that separates us from another stage for one of these Riders um yeah 80 km to go here uh almost and uh yeah apparently the reporters are saying that with about 80 km so very close to where we are now the wind is going to be um is going to be weing it’s going to be coming from the right hand side and potenti eventually we could be on for some echelons here we’ve seen echelons already on this year toal France but they weren’t sustainable asons so yeah anything can happen here on this year’s Toral France and yeah please give us some echelons just throw that bit of excitement our way there but 54% of you believe that alasin are the is the team who’s most unsatisfied with the with the with the yeah first race or the first week so um Primo RIT is also a character we can think about a bit uh primas RIT of course new team uh where will RIT rogl finish this year so where will rogl finish the this year uh first second third top five or other so there you go where will Prim R in your opinion finish this year but 83.9 km to go that is all that we’ve got left here who’s going to take the stage victory that is the big question you you would love to see well I’ve been banging on about this I would like to see honor Dee take the stage win that would be the best best well not the best but it would be nice seeing this team doing something and yeah 83.6 kilm still to go here oh Kevin Gat towards the back here we’re seeing gabin Tyson as well a lot of things can still happen on the race A2 the cathlon as well Macho vandero he’s just getting a gel here so uh it’s all still to play for in terms of the sprinters many of these will be be thinking of okay how are we going to beat Phillips and how are we going to beat bam gay the on form Rider of course winning does breed confidence and sprinting is very much a confidence game so yeah it’s uh it’s going to be an interesting one um this Sprint it’s yeah it’s a lottery this any of these sprinters could be winning the stage today and they’re all fast men they’re all prolific winners but only one of them can win today that is the reality of the situation who’s it going to be though who is it going to be I would love to see a stage win from um yeah a new stage winner like there’s so many sprinters that we keep banging on about but this the finishing town today I believe is Julian Philip’s birthplace unfortunately there is no yeah it is Julian Al Philip birthplace is where we’re finishing but there is no Julian Al Philip in this year’s race unfortunately of course going to the Jed high where he took stage win on stage 12 and he was also quite busy in the tour of Slovakia well last week finishing second place in GC and taking a stage one on stage three so so far so good from him um building on that for me as only really losing out uh the GC because of the team time trial that is something I believe is missing from this second week a good team time trial just throw that in here of course the organizers are very worried about uh Team time trials because many teams might be missing Riders but yeah do it second week time trial they love to put it in the first week where everyone has a full team but H be a bit daring organizers who knows so uh yeah Uno X Mobility as well death about Alexander Kristof son venol as well M Court neelson they’ve got plenty of riders who could take a stage win um but yeah who is it going to be uh that remains to be seen I would love to see onor X doing something here okay that would be a good one who has been who has been the best um yeah uh which team will be the happiest from the first week so which of these teams will be the happiest from first week DSM we’ll we’ll make it um we’ll make it so it’s kind of close so uh jco EF I don’t want to put EF on but they haven’t taken a stage win aana uh who else have we got that take a stage in that first week DSM uh okay let’s let’s put those three let’s put those three um which of those three teams will be the most happy about that first week just keeping the polls active while the the action is is not there uh 80.9 km to go here and little treack and the feed Zone here are we going to see any of these teams get in the mix now uh DSM mcov taking a stage win but no NC unfortunately no NC but I would love to see ran bade going for that Jersey that he won a number of years ago the PO Jersey the French of course they haven’t won it in a few years now because last year we had Chone we had yanes vingo the year before and then we had two years of Tida and then the man who woned then was ran B so I few years of an absence for the French for winning a polka Jersey and also winning a jersey 8.4 kilm still to go here is this where we’re going to see the wind kick up get in uh just hampering the rers chances here and see some real echelons happening who knows but uh yeah inos Grand towards the front here all the GC teams apart from UAE team emat are towards the front and um what are we saying Mike at the cycling Dane you are close to the finishing line today are the correct understood no I was at the start of the finishing line so I’m nowhere near the Finishing Line I was at the start at the start where we had very nice weather no wind so uh yeah but right now the pelaton looks a bit anxious here uh no uat memor but um Ty Pat is around third row I think third row here so the yellow Jersey staying quite Con well quite far well quite far up towards the front here and we remain to see what they’re going to do they’re not really going to be pushing too much UAE they’re thinking more about tomorrow that’s certainly going to be a good one and who’s going to take the stage win um okay SF is saying what is the gel they take so gel’s a little it’s liquid energy you can call it that it’s a very quick way to get a bit of a boost normally take 20 minutes and then you get a bit of a energy Rush of course these Riders are taking a whole host of different uh energy supplements or whatever you want to call it uh eating a lot they eat about eight 68,000 calories a day 68,000 calories a day imagine that day after day you have to eat you have to eat you’re burning it off so you have to eat you have to keep hydrated you have to keep eating and that’s really something that we don’t really see behind the scenes aana Kazakhstan congregating around the left hand side arbnb hotels they are World Tour team I keep thinking that they’re a proc Continental team but they’re not oh bny bie bie he’s got a mechanical here B’s got a mechanical so he’s just getting a change from one of the engineers here or the Mechanicals mechanics so Benny um just getting his back wheel changed there and yeah yesterday on the rest day I saw the inm uh mechanics what they actually do on a day like that they clean every single bike every single bike gets clean and Bam gay uh yeah actually got quite close to his bike as well uh yeah Bill saying lots of people eat 8,000 calories a day yeah but I don’t think they do enough to burn it off maybe who knows 78.3 km aana Kazakhstan uh we can see the European Champion Christal laort up here next to the yellow Jersey Anor Dee as well the Belgian national jerse uh Champion he’s up here towards the front can he do something here that remains to be seen a stage win from him would be absolutely glorious for the team uh of course they look like they have already qualified for the the upgrade promotion to next year what are we saying um I think they want Pavo COV to just drop back here UAE so uh Tachi can get his back wheel here inos green days towards the front David gou here we’re seeing him he could be another man potentially going in for that uh yeah that polka dot Jersey the French desperately wanting a jersey I I would assume and 39 seconds for bam gay to make up right now so he’s still within the cars 77.4 km still to go here remember we do have a very tricky finish towards the end we’ll talk a bit about that a bit later but right now the Crosswinds is the worry within the teams is it going to happen we wait to see but yeah David goodu former fourth place finisher of the toour France uh former to laer winner as well but not quite got that big big result okay fourth place is a great result but you’re not on any Podium and uh yeah are we going to see him take a stage win he would love a stage stage win the French would love a stage win they have already had stage winners this year K VLAN that was very popular stage wins H waited a long time for that stage win um has of course tasted a success before in the tour uh which one was it a few years ago wasn’t it uh four stage victories ah apologies Wan um I seem to recall there was only one stage victory four stage victories is what ran bade has to his account and uh won the Poo Jersey as we said in 2019 we’re seeing B gay just getting guided through the Convoy of cars and uh what can he do today that is the big question for many of you for me as well the green jersey who lost two points in the intermediate Sprint to his nearest rival of yasper Philips of course there’s no Mass Pon in that Jersey that competition anymore so that will have been a bit of a relief for both yasper philipsson and binam gay but these two are certainly going to be locking horns on these last four Sprint opportunities and there might just be a battle for those intermediate Sprints as well but lence Rex his teammate is trying to guide him back they’re sitting in the cars right now the a Tran symbol of a Nation here the man who managed to get two stage wins first ever air train to do so and uh um yeah what can he do here that remains to be seen um but 172 that is the number for the a Tran and he will certainly want to take another stage Victory if the opportunity presents itself but it is a very very competitive field here I am a bit nervous about the finish uh we talked about that as well is that going to catch any of the Sprint teams out or is it going to catch the pelaton out great to have 471 of you have hit the like button and uh that is very very good so as well reminder that we have the recovery rest day ride as well over on the cycling day action Channel and we’re very close to a th000 so I really appreciate anyone who hasn’t already of course many of you have go over there and subscribe to the channel while we still don’t have any action in front of us uh on the screens but and there is of course our Toral France giveaway competition there as well so plenty of things to get involved with on that channel but SAR quickstep getting up towards the front and Binum gay has joined the back end of the Pelton now so that mechanical has been conquered if you will kevat towards the back little Trek as well is kind of a team without well not quite without a purpose because they have Chona here as well Chona the P polka out Jersey champion from last year ending that drought that the Italians had uh in that Jersey uh not having won that for a very long time so uh yeah they will wait and see if they can do anything or if he can do something here um yeah uh will will he are we gonna see a stage Victory from into marade they’ve never won a stage at the total France ever in the history until this year and then now they won two so that was very good uh Vis M Lisa bike towards the front here bot lemon the former Soldier former human powerered Healthcare Rider only got the call up to the VIS Melissa bike to the France Squad because unfortunately SE cus contracted Co and hadn’t recovered sufficiently from Co unfortunately but into my sh here we can see a former yellow Jersey wearer and Stage winner Mike ch he very much makes up that uh that train as well um yeah big opportunity uh for interm like we said 73.7 km to go here Alex aramburo to towards the back here he squandered potentially an opportunity for Mista on that gravel stage a BNB they are very uh high after that uh Kevin VLAN r a win of course U memor have already won a stage as well with tacha on the gbia stage and yeah Remco vle winning for the sadal quickstep team that was quite a incredible Victory as well I think the last time well actually that’s not true the last time they took a a time trial victory was the opening uh stage in 2022 with Lampard winning that stage and taking the yellow Jersey in Copenhagen so uh yeah kopen Hound as you say in Danish seeing the sight of kin hon and yeah Oliver narson here the former Belgian national champion we’re seeing him here very great Classics Rider but he’s kind of missing that big result that we were hoping for former Podium finisher at Milan San rmo and here to do a job for s s Bennett you would think but S benett no results from him as of yet and are we going to see a stage win from him in this year’s total France it would be great I’m not sure that’s going to happen and um yeah would love to see Oliver narson take a stage win we have already got a Belgian winner with uh Reno like we said Reno in that white jersey sitting in second place in the white jersey well in class in the classification but that white jersey looks well he’s in the poor position but can he take it all the way to nice the nce time trial if he’s anywhere near that white jersey and the podium is certainly favorable to him so uh yeah ramco Vino is he going to win the white jersey um yeah uh so um yeah we’re seeing I think uh beautiful castle there’s plenty of beautiful castles around the area as well absolutely stunning part of uh France and uh yeah a lot can still happen here 838 of you have subscribed to the cycling Daye action Channel thank you thank you thank you um we’re very close to a thousand so uh DSM feric we’re seeing them here towards the back Frank Vanden Brook that was a great second place for the youngster being able to help wmer B to take a stage win what an iconic picture his first ever day in the yellow Jersey ran and absolute great publicity for the team but great to have so many people in the chat let us know where you’re watching from let us know who you think is going to win we’ve got 71.6 km still to go here 71.6 km and uh yeah there’s plenty of things that can happen side wind or Crosswinds have been rumored uh yeah um let’s just start a new poll again because uh I think we’ve stopped that poll uh 55% of you saying DSM are probably the most satisfied team out of the ones we had there but uh will rco rco win the white actually will Remco finish finish on the podium uh yeah I’m in as well thank you for the kind comments thank you every single one of you for joining as well lending me a for another day of this year’s Toral France 2024 stage number 10 first one after the rest day and do you think Remco Veno is going to be finishing on the podium and by and large also winning the white jersey T Pacha of course the alltime winner he holds that record nobody else is sharing that record with him the most white jerseys in his career four white jerseys to his name nobody has four white jerseys there’s plenty on the three but not on four Ty Bacha stands alone and has not been uh dethroned here but Dylan hovan the man who of course is the Dutch national champion stage winner already has won before in the Sham was the fastest man on two wheels in 2018 but yeah has had a bit of a comeback Trail recovery Redemption ride courtesy of that Toro Poland ined but are we going to see Fabio yakobson as well these two Dutch sprinters having shared the arena so many times cross swords when the sharp end of a Sprint H comes in and are we going to see them up there W vard Jasper Phillips and Anor Dei also Riders that uh have shared many battles in the arena of cycling sprinting under 70 km to go here Kazakhstan this pace is lifting a bit here into maré towards the front inos Grand is making sure to stay out of home’s way so is Vis M Lisa bik so it’s without quickstep all the big GC teams are making sure to stay up there to say the least uh yeah uh Allison as well great to have you here great to have you back Remco calling Yus um well yeah Remco Veno at the end of the stage did say um yeah there is no well he had no balls for not pulling with him and tacha and uh yeah I don’t know I think the context needs to be added in there Remco come on yis Bingo recovering from the same crash you were in but he was a lot worse than you so of course he’s going to ride defensive and if you two want to get rid of him you need to to attack him however he wants to ride that’s how he rides 69 km to go here and we still have the bunch the pelaton they are bunched up here the pace is getting harder well higher faster whatever you want to say uh we’re seeing uh here Steven Williams as well maybe he’s going to take a stage win we’ll wait and see but uh yeah he’s sitting 1 hour and 6 minutes down on the GC so the Welshman won’t be getting a top 10 result this year but uh they tore down under winner and flesh of alone winner as well certainly is going to be interesting but 60% of you 60% of you believe rco Evo is finishing on the podium that’s quite a high margin of not so uh yeah let us know where he think Remco is going to be finishing if you didn’t say yes do you think Remco can win the victory do you think he can challenge tach and yis wingo and Primo RIT the man he’s going to have to get rid of potentially for that final Podium is Primos rage but 68.2 km and anything can happen in today’s stage we’re hoping for echelons echelons is great chaotic scenes obviously we don’t want the Riders to crash but we want that hard racing where we see those echelons splintered all across the road and last time they were here in 2013 when Mark cish won that is exactly what happened so um yeah um many of you thinking as well that yeah that the comments by R Veno maybe he was just hotheaded he was a bit annoyed we had a unique opportunity here having the white jersey well the top three Riders attacking on a gravel stage that’s such a unique narrative maybe it was just a bit upset about that but uh yeah great to have so many people in the chat and uh do let us know where you’re watching from and who you think’s going to win so um yeah who’s going to win that is the question that we’ve been pondering for the last hours uh i’ would love to see anadil win I know it’s an unpopular win uh statement for our I TR and friends but yeah an lot of Destiny it’s a proc Continental team when’s the last time we’ve seen a proc Continental team take a stage win in a Sprint we have of course uh already had two pro what no actually a a k BNB on a a proc Continental team as as much as I want to cram them into that Bunch they are still a world to team but Tois they certainly are uh Pro Continental team and uh yeah but bie is many people’s favorite for today’s stage I don’t know if bie if you put him against Jasper philson in a clean flat Sprint I don’t think he’s going to beat him but as we saw on stage eight that bit of a uphill Sprint that’s suits bam gay down to a T and I think uh that was quite a statement when it was head-to-head between those two on stage eight a great finish that was a great finish and yeah what a victory by bie there but krao the former European time trial Champion he’s up towards the front here with the former world time well world champion on the road mik kovski behind him they’re thinking about their former Spanish national champion of Carlos Rodriguez and uh yeah we’ve also seen Nils poet and pal COV in front end here of the bunch in the services of REM well not Remco of uh tacha v m Lisa biker placed Welco kelman towards the front here Road furniture for the uh Pelon to deal with as well that has been a bit of a worry a number of times so we’ve seen plenty of crashes where riding has been caught out because of exactly those bit of furniture on the road so yeah um it’s crazy what’s happening in terms of the excitement on the tour it’s been a really good first week this I’ve really enjoyed it and I’m sure plenty of you have as well there’s been a lot of action uh towards the finale of the stages if it wasn’t uh completely as hectic as was the uh yeah okay Riley’s asking what I meant by a clean finish okay so what I mean is if they are going Mano on Mano oneon-one uh that is that is the question so if you see them oneon-one that would be uh a what I a clean finish great to have yens here as well uh maybe those big balls of theirs Pacha and Remco will come back to haunt them in week three when they have S yeah uh it is is true though it is a long game the total France it’s only the first week that completed this is only the first day of the second week and uh yeah yores is certainly going to be trying to ride himself into some form and in that final week there’s a lot of elevation gain so can well and truly catch a lot of riders out here if they’re not uh yeah if they’re not cautious about how they yeah ride this race you you form is very fragile um the addition of three-week race we’ve seen Remco Veno absolutely implode uh as he did last year at the welia was it stage 12 Stage n whatever so he had to rejig his hold welp into chasing stages and getting the polka dot Jersey so yeah certainly fragile great to have Josh as well great to have so many of our regulars in the comments really do appreciate you coming back that does tell me that I’m not completely terrible at commentating 64.3 km Vis M bike into my sudal quickstep uat m in your screen days AA BNB hotels and aana that is your front row of the uh race right now the pace looks like it’s just increasing ever so slightly they’re just just turning the gear gears up a bit here and uh it’s time for a new poll what was the poll um uh where will B go finish this year uh yeah there you go where will vingal finish this year I think that is a very good question to think about will he finish in the top five first second third or will he win it or other will he not even finish the race so what are we saying as well Amon uh if bie is with the last 10 Riders like Saturday forget it will be another vendy VI bie um yeah uh Josh ask as well what happened to you nothing he just got a job with a a professional outfit so uh yeah he did very well and uh he’s doing very well for himself as well so of course he well he’s part of the echelon cycling podcast so you can still catch him there we’ve had a bit of a Hiatus CU he’s been very busy let’s be honest and uh yeah Bill saying I could make a very good uh commentating duo with Dan Lloyd I am a very big Dan Lloyd fan so yeah if he is listening which he probably isn’t he’s probably working uh we would love to see that but yeah aan Kazakhstan they are just increasing the tempo here uh V Melissa bike now the pelon’s getting a bit aggressive Now 60 km an hour here this could be a detrimental time for many of the teams that are not sitting perfectly in this group here this is worrying times now now we’re getting a bit of ayy now this is where the pace is starting to accelerate here 62.6 km this is what Mike was telling us about in the comments as well this is going to be interesting now now it could be oo this could be very much uh solid uh well this could be the exciting racing that we were absolutely hoping was going to happen here in your scen is making sure that they up towards the front here uat memores want to make sure that the T Pat isn’t caught out aana Kazakhstan they want to repeat what happened 11 years ago or 12 11 years ago with having Mark hdes winning on Echelon or crosswind stage Matel jensson moving up with yoris vingo here sudal quick step as well bit of restlessness bit of chaos here this is the alarming part now any bit of movement from the Pelon from right to left could catch other Riders out further down in the peleton and that’s how we’ve seen many many crashes happening but right now it’s this Melissa bike soal quickstep uat memor they’re the ones taking charge here as we come around another roundabout the peleton splits in two they’re going to rejoin again but sudal quickstep and UA team emats are the ones hammering it at the front here they want to try and put the other teams into a bit of trouble but as well keep their own man up there put a bit of pressure on the other teams that is a good tactic here but yeah sudal quickstep uat memor making the other legs or the other teams hurt here om where is he where is inos granders they’re up towards the front on the right hand side of the road Mista Anor Dee finds himself in a good good position as well of course we know these Benelux Riders they’re very good at riding in the cross winds so quickstep of course very very good riding Crosswinds Mark hdes was a quickstep rider when he won that stage in this same finishing town in 2013 one of the most exciting torran stages I’ve ever seen uh with uh Chris F Alberto contador part of that move that absolutely just drilled off the front Peter Zan was in there as well seeing the green jersey and the yellow Jersey initiating a crosswind move that is absolutely something that yeah absolutely incredulous but right now Neils poet the man from Germany the man who almost won Ute head newsl but for a Yan tratnik he’s pushing at the front here the former borans rer brought in for exactly this moment is absolutely putting the H in putting the wats on and right now Alon to Kik they desperately want to take charge of this Bunch as well they’re coming up towards the front here as well they want to show who the kings are they want to try and see if they can catch catch binam gay out they want to get rid of Binum and see if they can just have yasper philipsson hoovering up the points at the end here we’ve got abrahamson the Pogo Jersey he’s always willing to attack here as well 60 km to go here Tim willin and Nils pollet coming up towards the front this is exactly why these two have been brought in here oh this is interesting this is going to be an exciting one oh there’s no more polka Jersey points up for grabs there’s no intermediate Sprints there’s no bonus seconds in terms of on the road but right now it’s uat Merit it’s V Melissa bike Anor D’s up towards the front here yasper Philipson’s up towards the front where is the green jersey of Binum gay has he been caught out here bie bie bie where is bie that is the big question here Egan Bernal a bit further down lot of Destiny I can’t see inm here can’t see inm so that’s a bit worrying here Corners coming up here another roundabout but they only have to tackle half of it here veering off to the left here uh um yeah they just pushing the pressure on here and this is what you need to make sure that you’re not caught out gram D no sprinters within their ranks he went off to go to AA samsi or A BNB halfway through the season last year and here we go t b here for Vis Melissa bike he’s uh putting the pressure on as well Vis Melissa bike towards the front grath DJ uat M desperate not to lose the lead here as well perent King pushing on and there behind gavia de rcoo wants to not get caught out here as well is R Premier Tech making sure to stay up towards the front Mark Cavendish not too far away little Trek despite not having mass pillis and making sure that they’re not caught out as well so it’s nervous times here nervous time 65 67 km an hour here the pelaton 58.3 km still from the Finish but right now they’re all worried that echelons are going to be happening and they don’t want to be the teams that are going to be caught out here they’re doing their best they’re doing their best to keep pushing on here their front group here is very small can I see bie bie must be in there b for sure match of VPO is caught out a bit here the peleton is so far stretching out a long long line here a long line and we’ll waai and see here make sure to hit the like button as well subscribe to the channel if you’re new here and of course we are going to be doing the recap race analysis over on the cycling day extra channel so I hope you join me for that as well or on the podcast available on Spotify but right now 57.6 km a long stretch of straight road exposed here and right now there are is a lot of nervous Riders we’ve got side Winds of 18 km an hour is that enough it’s 18 km an hour to split the peleton I’m not sure we’re getting our side wind a west west side wind uh from the right hand side who’s this going to catch out many people of course CAU out by the positioning right now but the Pelon hasn’t split in two of course these guys if they really turned the Watts up if they really went for it and we were going 60 70 km like a Sprint uh then I’m I’m sure we would see some uh break itches of the pelaton but is that sustainable so far out maybe if they’re willing to commit to it you need enough teams at the front to be willing to do that but it looks like the pelaton are just taking it a bit easier here so yeah uh Maybe not maybe not but the helicopter shot we’re getting but we’re not getting what is actually happening um yeah um what is going to happen in today’s stage are we going to see a stage win from D already having Taste of success this year in the in the race or his Dutch Countryman of Fabio yakobson or his Bel Benelux cont well Benelux whatever honor de yasper philipsson Ward there’s been no sprinters from Belgium taking a stage Victory EF education e to post towards the front as well they’re going to be a bit disappointed with kapas uh falling outside the front end of this race in terms of the GC it was looking so good stage two katas was in a perfect position then taking over the yellow Jersey just before that gbia stage but then losing a magnitude of time 55.8 km it looks like the pelaton has just settled down a bit so uh yeah false alarm false alarm guys but you need to Mark those moves you need to Mark those moves great to have so many people here as well and kind reminder as well like Mike said a fellow copenhagener like myself subscribe to the channel if you’re new here and hit the like button of course uh if you’re new as well why not head over to our third channel the cycling Dan action Channel and check out the rest day ride with Binum gay and while you’re there subscribe to the channel to try and get us to 1,000 subscribers there’s 1,300 of us here if only 100 if only 10% of you went over on that link in the chat and subscribe not only you’re doing us a big help and uh yeah there there’s a lot of uh funny projects coming out on that video so uh yeah it’s not a wasted subscription anyway Israel Premier Tech in the front end here with Jakob fank um friend of the channel I guess he’s appeared on this channel in the past Derek G is of course the one that they’re trying to defend uh he’s currently sitting ninth a very unlikely Ninth Place Finish Well Setter right now but he was third in the doofan so it’s all still to play for in that top 10 that top 10 seeing that evolve from throughout this year’s Edition is going to be exciting Journey it’s not all just about the yellow Jersey so uh yeah um we’re seeing Ben Turner here as well we’re seeing match of anipo next to a Dutch Countryman of De but in this race on this stage he is rival to yasper philipson but the Dutch Riders are they saying any words are they just like haha yasp is gonna beat you today maybe not maybe nothing’s happening uh the two men who have tasted success in the Toral France in the past Machel veripool biggest one of the biggest stars in the sport but he’s had a bit of a drought no stage victories in the Toral France since 2021 that iconic stage Victory on stage two of 2021 yeah it’s been a long drought but there’s of course explanations to all of them 2022 the following year he also did the jro won the first states there wore the Mal Rosa and then uh went to the tour that year was very fatigued doing backtack tour jro tour and then he went in 2023 to the Tour of France but there he was of course a valuable teammate for yasper philipson and was part of those four stage victories and the green jersey and then went on to the win the rainbow bands that he’s wearing right now so yeah the double the current double uh world champion of course being also the cycle cross world champion I’d love to see him at the front end of the bunch uh the San Luca stage I was thinking maybe this could be a much of underpull one but it proved a bit too hard there uh not sure if he’s just using the Tour of France to kind of uh ride into um form he’s thinking about the Olympic as well coming up in Paris that’s a big goal for him uh in 2021 when we had the 2020 Tokyo Olympics of course uh his big goal was that mountain bike Olympic gold medal but that of course went to uh Tom Pico after crashing on that first stage or stage first lap whatever there’s no stages in a a man bike race in the Olympics but uh there are of course mountain bike stage races as well but yeah 52.9 km the kilom are ticking down now we haven’t really had too much excitement on this stage we’ve had the intermediate Sprint where we saw yasper philipson uh just get one place higher than bny so he took two SEC or two points back from that lead that yasper well bam gay has currently in that green jersey and uh yeah of course it’s very valuable for the team to have that green jersey it’s very valuable that they took those two stage wins first time in the history as a team into Mar but alerson the team that haven’t left this tour France without a stage Victory I think ever in their history they were angry they they want they want success they want Glory they’re one of yeah the fastest lead out train you would say but it just hasn’t clicked uh the stage Victory one by bie of course they were caught up behind crashes of course he was relegated uh with the mark cdes Victory with W vard is that the correct one and then binam gay on that more tricky in in terms of incline finish he just couldn’t do anything about it so uh yeah uh Clifton dun 74 as well saying got interested in cycling in 1986 H is that uh no it’s 18 is that the Greg lemond 18 86 is that the Greg lemond Bernard Ino to France of course the 1989 torto France is where we had that iconic finish now between Fon and Greg lond and then in 87 is the last time we saw a man win well actually no well the Triple Crown in cycling which is of course winning the jira winning the Tour of France and winning the World Championships in one season accolades that many riders would just like to win in their whole career as a whole but Steven roach did that in one season of course the only other writer to do that was Eddie MKS but is Ty batcha going to etch his name next to these two writers we’ll wait and see Pascal aaman um yeah he was saying at the start of the day that they all they were worried about um yeah um what are we saying they were worried he’s wor he was at the beginning of the stage he was worried about crosswinds here potentially happening and that possibility is still a fright for many of the Riders here what are we saying as well uh despite all the odds philipson is not someone who gives up so easily yeah I think philipson is going to be angry I think that’s quite worrying uh for any of the other sprinters 50.5 km if you haven’t taken this win and you feel like you should have won uh you can be quite angry with yourself and just that bit of extra motivation here uh yeah almost inside the last 50 kilometers nobody everyone’s in the group here no one’s out the back no one’s out in front and it is of course bie the green jersey the yellow Jersey the white jersey and the polka do Jersey they’re all sitting very tightly in there the former Russian Rider of Pavo COV he’s now a French Rider he’s of course on domestique duty he’s a man who won the Under 23 Jed Talia in the past as well was part of Enos granders and was 10th or ninth in the JRE in 2019 but very young at that time as well but now he is unfortunately a domestique but may be part of a bigger cause and a stage well being part of a Toral front’s uh winning team would certainly be a great result for him he’s probably going to get a lot of opportunities for himself because of course uat members care a lot about the world toour rankings and they’ve been dominating that this year nobody’s come close to them might as well stop it now um yeah it’s uh it’s going to be interesting if uh anyone can actually get that act together in some of the other races as well so yeah 49.4 km still to go anything can happen in this year’s Edition uh in terms of any of the jerseys really no jerseys sewn up as we know it’s not over until we get toce 36% of you believe yoris Bingle is going to win his third to of France this year uh 32% of you believe it’s going to be a second or a third place and 14% of you believe he’s not even going to be finishing in the top five so that’s a very good picture there of what you guys think uh over 700 of you have voted so it’s time for a new poll I think um yeah actually I think this one will be a good one will Remco ever win the Tour to France yeah 48.8 km we’re seeing the M we talked about a bit before 101 Macho Vanderpool uh the two-time current world champion many World Championships on the road as we know not on the road he’s only had one on the road but he has had one as a junior world champion so we can’t say multiple world champion on the road just the junior C age so uh what are we saying as well um plenty of guys commenting as well let us know get involved in the chat there’s plenty of good chat happening as well plenty of knowledgeable chat happening um I am learning a lot from you guys as well ruk Costa we can see the national champion many national champions as well Ryan Gibbons the South African National Champion he had his nose in the in the front in one of the Sprints uh uh yakobson as well not uh a national champion former European Champion the current European Champion Christal laort of course has had a bad year as well illness and crashes um yeah yakob Fang I think we have him at the front the former two time well the former winner of two monuments IL lombardia and Li Baston Li and of course finished in the top 10 before as well never tasted a Tak a win in the toural France come was denied by Dan Martin in a Sprint that was a great shame and yeah Roman B we’re seeing him here should Roman B be going for the polka do Jersey o this is a spicy tasty poll we’ve got now rco po will he ever win the toural France will he ever win the toural France in his career I think that’s a very good one and uh great to have Devo as well uh Costa Rica uh B gay there nature break cameras just sweeping past him but yeah rco Veno uh a lot of you not giving your faith to Remco it’s a pretty tight poll here 52% 48% should he have done the Tour of France last year potentially after having dropped out from the the jir tire but we got a very exciting rco Veno in the Welter so maybe it’s fine maybe it’s fine because we got that show of him that aggressive rco Veno in the breaks I really really enjoyed that so uh Israel perch little track at the front as well inos Grand u memat visma Lisa bike those are your teams towards the front Victor comp outs as well choosing to be up here as well uh of course thinking about the chances of Anna Dee for the stage Victory they would love to take a victory to say the least um yeah who’s going to take the stage win many many uh Riders are in the Hut here it’s almost like you put the names in the Hat and then draw it out it’s so Random it could be any of these guys to say the least but uh yeah everything could happen on the stage we could even have a big crash and some unknown quantity could win so uh that’s of course why we’re sitting here watching and uh yeah who do you think is gonna be winning this year’s 10th stage 186 of you have voted and it’s almost 5050 here you oh this is a very tense poll whether or not Remco Veno will take a tour to France in his career I’m not saying now I’m not saying tomorrow I’m saying anytime in his career can he end that drought 1978 is the last time we’ve seen a Belgian winner of the torter fronts that’s quite a long length here so uh yeah uh Stephan Kung here he’s got a bike problem here Jam chain of course in the time dra he had a mechanical as well uh yeah we will wait and see we will wait and see what’s going to happen in terms of Stefan Kung yeah he desperately wants a stage win in the tour it’s not come yet and might not ever come for the Swiss Maestro kind of seen as the air to the Fabian Canela throne but not quite not quite having the same success as his Idol you would assume so uh yeah 45.3 km we’re getting ever closer to that finish I promised you a graphic of the finish uh final uh what would say couple of kilometers it’s got a bit of a interesting Hill towards the Finish as well but also a bit of a danger point so uh yeah bit worried about that to say the least but yeah the toal FR stage 10 I’ll get you the finale here uh I was quite well quite surprised about uh a bit of uh tricky obstacle towards inside the last 10 km it’s not really where you want the the tricky things happening but of course we have seen plenty of turns twists on the road uh but the hearts of the Riders are certainly going to be in near the maximum heart rate there towards the finish so uh yeah I’ll get you that profile and right now it’s still calm 44.6 km Stephan Kung is the man in the cars here and he will well they have they’re riding without a purpose in some ex to some extent here uh because they haven’t got anyone for the GC and uh update here the road surface isn’t great apparently according to the organizers and which is weird and a bit of gravel on the road as well so that’s going to be worrying times worrying times coming up for the pellets on here worrying times that is going to be worrying here uh so uh we can get a bit of un stock nature of racing here well what am I saying we can get some of the Riders caught out here by uneven terrain not even terrain uneven uh chipping surfaces is the message I’m getting here so that is a bit worrying here that uh yeah a bit of hidden gravel there that is not welcoming news for any of these Riders but you can see the stage there so this is you’re coming into the final 5 km coming kind of in from the north to south is and then just with a few 100 m left you’ve got that random very sharp Z what would you call that almost like sharp very sharp pointy corner for the Riders to uh go around so of course that sharp corner means that they have a leftand turn then the very sharp right hand turn and then they have another sharp left hand turn so that can really be influential on not only the Sprint result but also uh any teams getting caught out in that battle for position so but uh the paac has dropped down a bit as well here so uh they’re not going completely kbl right now the Pelon isn’t strung out that’s kind of the indication that the speed isn’t too high they’ve they’ve kind of uh boxed oped at the front here like uh what do you call it sausag out the it’s not strong out it’s kind of uh yeah I don’t even know what you would say um but uh anything can happen in today’s stage stepan K here not quite back end in the pet on here but yeah great to have so many people here as well and uh uh yeah uh we will wait and see if this is going to happen 42.7 km to go and the Swiss man is making his way towards The Penton here are we going to see a stage win um from gr D towards in this tour probably not probably one of the teams that are a bit disappointed about this to say the least and uh yeah anything can happen in today’s stage and who’s going to win we can see from the flags there is a bit of side wind going on but the teams are not too worried about this but that bit of rough terrain there is going to be worrying to say the least are we going to see a stage win from any of these Riders uh of course yes but which one of them is it going to be Dutch is it going to be a Belgian is it going to be Danish probably not um North American I would say not there’s not not really any sprinters from North America gavia from South America certainly be one doing something here and uh yeah um yasper philipson here we’re seeing him in the car um desperately wants to take a stage win coming so close on so many stages and even getting relegated like we said so uh yeah uh we’ve got har tahada here the Colombian riding foran of Kazakhstan close to Yas Philip yby Phillipson just in the team car here his back number not quite stitched up properly here but yeah anything can happen in today’s stage in terms of Sprint like we said it’s almost like you throw all the names of the sprinters into uh into a bag and then yeah quite funny but 41.4 km here and Jasper philipson just making his way back into the peleton here the man who was Den and national championships BYO Dei before the total France and potentially could do something here if he’s going to be able well if he’s at the front here towards those uh spiky Corners as well um yeah it’s uh it’s exciting to say the least it’s exciting great to have Strange Brew as well from California plenty of you around the world and who’s going to win Ty Pacha and his men UA merits they do their best here Remco Veno uh what’s he going to be able to do at the end we had a vote about him as well and I’ll pull right now will Remco Veno ever win the Tour to France almost 500 of you have voted and you guys have said 5050 so this is one of our closest ever polls so one of our closest ever polls with the well the amount of people who have voted but 40.6 km here 40.6 km yeah it certainly is exciting uh this part now we’re into the sweet nugget of the stage who is it going to be who is it going to be many of you saying bin gay obviously the hype the two stages the green jersey yasper philipson wants the revenge on who just the Revenge of on losing um D against wants the second stage win Fabio yakobson still not won he wants to have his first stage win since 2022 only his second stage win crashing last year Anor dear wants another stage win Anor Dee a debutant never tasted a success at the tour Phil bous as well wants to win for barin they haven’t tasted any success right now little Tre can’t really do anything Pascal aiman’s never won at this race he wants to join that elite club of riders who’ve done a one two three as well uh well not one two three a Welter Juro to four stage win so uh yeah um who else Brian Kar never won at the toural France before his home race the Frenchman desperately wants to take something here if he can o um Matthew as well saying will Del Toro ever win the Tour France I think it’s very early in his career and he’s not in the race so he can’t qualify for Poland unfortunately Israel Premier though can they add a stage Victory here they have of course won in the past as a proc Continental team uh they won the Cobblestone stage remember that Simon Clark a great Victory there 39.2 km the kilometers are ticking down fast we’ got a lot of things that can happen on today stage as well great to have uh North Vancouver in the house as well Canada of course looking for Derek G I’m sure we’ve got plenty of Canadians in the chat let us know uh if you’re supporting your man Derek G he seems very nice but yeah uh yasper fips and match of unipo they smiling they’re very happy they’re excited for this Sprint stage can they do the job here can alerson get their first stage win of this year’s Tor France they’re starting to run out of opportunities here the green jersey is also one of their big objectives here they want to win it for a second year in a row but is that going to happen are we’re going to see that happening in front of our very eyes 38.7 km this is going to be exciting it’s time for a new poll as well it’s 5050 5050 we’ve got almost 600 people in the votes 5050 600 of you have voted 600 of you have voted and let’s end the poll there 5050 that was exciting that was a very exciting poll but at the front end of the race we got yaka Fang one of my favorite writers for isra Premier Tech le treack as well who are they looking after is chor last year’s polka Jersey wearer winner inos granders Lampard at the front for sodal quickstep trying to keep Ru out of trouble uat memores with Mark Solair former total laer winner former welta spania winner in terms of a stage and of course we also got Yan trat towards the front as well um yeah that is exciting but new poll new poll as we wait the last few fast kilometers of this stage and uh who well should should Roman B should Roman uh Chase Chase the polka dot Jersey so far down in GC and uh should he be chasing his first polka out jersey since 2019 the French haven’t won it since 2019 remember but right now at the front Tim the Clark the tractor 37.7 km this the cross winds that we said that hasn’t quite happened and Peter F will do yours as well bagels or Donuts will’ll do that for sure uh willco kelderman is towards the front it’s it’s strange how they’re using Welco kelderman don’t you think a man who’s finished on the podium in the J TI before finished top five in the tour to France as well former winner of the tour of Denmark but here he’s being used as the same role as Tim the clerk as Nils pollet as a ruler a man who crashed on the first stage so there is a bit of worry about that but 37.2 km and uh towards the end back end we can see the Colombian sensation the Sprinter Fernando gavia and there is certainly a bit of wind here but is that going to be offending affecting the pelaton too much here 680 of you have hit the like button uh thank you for that everyone and uh yeah now we just need 680 of you to hit the like button or subscribe to the Channel with cycling Dane uh get us to 1,000 we’re 160 away so that’s about a 10 10% of everyone who’s in the chat right now and everyone who has subscribed to the channel there’s plenty of things coming out there so it’s not even like it’s a Spam it’s uh actually an interesting Channel 36.7 36.6 um gr DJ what should they do 53% of me believe M by day should chase the poka Jersey Oh I thought that would be getting a lot more I thought he would be getting a lot more uh yeah of you wanting B to go after a poo Jersey H I was trying yesterday to convince Lou mes of South Africa uh to chase that pokero Jersey but uh yeah he he said Scott I can’t do it chor if he’s there he’s faster than me I need to drop everyone because I’m not the fastest Sprinter here so yeah um yeah but great to have so many people here in the chat really do appreciate every single one of you tuning in on a daily basis and of course we have got a load of Sprinter still uh stages and Sprint wins for uh to come as well and we have got a very uh juicy stage to tomorrow so that should be a good stage to watch uh we could see the yellow Jersey change hands potentially we could see a breakaway stage win and uh yeah many many questions potentially great opportunity for a stage win for many of these teams Kon VLAN could he be a man getting up the road Simon Yates should uh yeah um Tim de clerk still at the front here Le Trek doing their best to put their man corner here now that they don’t have mass pson 35.4 km yakob fo on the right hand side where we’re used to seeing this Melisa bike and uh great to have Aman from California as well plenty of you around the world as well uh California certainly flashes up a number of times uh Eat Your Spinach Tom Perez glad to see Lander former FR wingman still on the saddle yeah Lander has been looking very very good he’s currently inside that top 10 and could get another top 10 here so that would be a great top 10 for him um yeah we’ve can see moscon up here as well absolutely formidable Rider questionable person after certain things racism Etc uh bit of a temper as well in the races punching our fellow Rider not really Behavior you want to see but right now he’s certainly been I think uh his wings have been clipped on the temperamental part and he’s doing a good role for remov Eno as a domistic rider but gavia here with a mustache the former yellow Jersey WEA stage winner as well in the past um yeah certainly exciting to see if he can reclaim that form we saw flash up a bit as well and yeah M Star desperately want to take a stage one out of this not quite the the to of France that they would have wanted to be honest they would have wanted uh to have to have um yeah their man up there in Rick Mass but it’s not really the best scenario for them Mista of course the team that has had a double Podium at the Toral France with n canana and alval in the past but well to my knowledge never won it as mistar no they haven’t won it as mistar of course they’ve had various different iterations as well um Casta if you remember that area as well where riberto ran was even one of their writers Hakim Hakim Rodriguez one of my favorite writers so uh Strange Brew as well saying I remember when tyacha road in front of my house in the Tour of California oh I missed that race is one of my races that I want to see back to of California to of Yorkshire all these races need to be reinstated 33.4 km we’re seeing the TV cameras at the back end of the bunch if you’re thinking Scott why are you not telling us about the Breakaway what’s the Breakaway situation going on right now that’s because there is no Breakaway we had a brief Breakaway at the start of the stage but that Breakaway gave up there was no hope they didn’t want to do anything and this has become a bit of a yeah what say uh extended rest day ride for the Riders and uh great to have critical M back in the comments as well watching from Iceland unfortunately there’s no Icelandic riders in here um yeah 39 32.9 km still to go here up the stage so many things can happen today who’s going to take a stage win that is a big question here probably not anyone from sudal quickstep they don’t really have a fast man here here uh we are turning our attention towards the sprinters for sure I think uh I don’t see anyone else winning with that kind of finale we have okay there is that uncustomized climb towards the finish so that uh is a bit of a worry for some of the purest sprinters the D konov and the Fab Jacobson and yeah but uh we will wait and see EV Lampard towards the front here mosone towards the front Mark cair towards the front as well and uh anything can happen in today’s stage Anything Can Happen who’s going to take the stage win Yan tratnik towards the front here as well they want to try and keep uh Yus up here towards the front so if there is any crashes he’s not caught out here there’s been a number of crashes towards the back end here uh 32 km the pace isn’t too high here they’re not really stringing things out iando GID quite far down um it’s kind of that block riding with all the Riders kind of riding at the front at a even Tempo here but no one really committing their stall no one really ramping the pace up here like we would like to see hopefully we’ll see that a bit closer to the the Finish Line we hope 20 km to go maybe that’s when we see the pace really take a drastic acceler eration and see the GC teams just holding on and doing their best here but uh yeah there’s a lot of things that can happen on today’s stage still in that Sprint that Sprint washing machine effect where you don’t really know who’s going to come out towards the front it’s so imperative to stay towards the front with some lead out men here but who’s it going to be I don’t really know uh we’re seeing another beautiful cathedral of course at the start of the day they had the beautiful cathedral in or so uh yeah Strange Brew as well saying that Sagan owns a house in Cali which sounds weird because C is also a city in Colombia so uh of course California I guess you mean not Cali in Colombia uh where Harold uh harison Pantano is from if you recall him former stage winner of the tour if it still counts because he sered the donut ping suspension I believe he he had similar char istics to Alberta contador I would say uh looked like the Colombian contador 30.2 colus v u memor quickstep Israel Prem Tech and inos grad are the teams at the front here okay this is exciting now um yeah are we going to see tacha win the toural France this year that is a question many of you are thinking and I think that should be a poll because we’ve had Remco we’ve had Jonas and now we’ll do will Pacha win the win win the Tour this year so that would mean he would get his third title enjoy the likes of Greg Lamont on three titles and only be two away from joining the very elite uh yeah Eddie MKS Bernardo uh jacqu onil faster copy I don’t believe that he had five 29.4 km we’re still waiting for that exciting juicy nugget of the pace getting dominated by the sprinting teams it’s still quite calm at the front here and that is a great moment for everyone to head over to the cycl D action Channel And subscribe when we get to a th000 I will not be naming that channel again on this stream so I think that is a good incentive oh yeah I’m going to subscribe to that channel to shut Scott up so I don’t have to hear about the cycling dating action Channel ever again on a stream 29 km 29 it’s still yeah it’s very much that calm before the storm okay that calm has been quite a long Calm before this storm so uh yeah little Trek here towards the front here yako F sang as well wel Kerman in that rer role that we’re quite well confused about shall we say but aana Kazakhstan they are pushing on in terms of the front fedorov the St man from Kazakhstan he’s here towards the back end and yeah who’s going to take the stage win that is the big question 28.6 km 28.6 km ran has a mechanical here R has a mechanical is it in the wrong time I think he’ll be fine here I think he’ll be fine um and uh yeah thank you ilroy as well great to have some you know familiar members who been part of this chat already in this year’s toal France get involved in the chat if you haven’t already been involved and uh subscribe to the channel if you’re new here to see your name flash up uh for a long time um but right now Anor Del is in the car as well in the cars so maybe he’s just have a mechanical and I mean if you are going to have a mechanical this is the moment the cusp of before you’re going to have the accelerating uh pace of the pelaton so uh yeah he’s getting a change of bikes and also goes for a toilet break there as well um yeah we will wait and see here visma Lisa bike towards the right hand side of the road when you look from the motorbike shot uat members alongside them so these two teams bidding to win the yellow Jersey they’ve shared the yellow Jersey on the last four Edition editions of the Toral France and uh yeah it looks like the fifth edition where they really jke it out is going to be that as well so uh yeah honor honor is he going to take a victory today the first uh Victory today as well uh for lot of Destiny for a very long time when the last time we had a lotto Destiny man win they certainly not won as a pro Continental team maybe it’s Caleb buan is Caleb buan the last one as well um yeah but uh anyways 27.3 km still to go here on a are Belgian national champion what is he going to be able to do here um yeah 27.2 km we’ve still got the bunch very much together and Riders off the back Mechanicals Etc getting feeds as well and uh just making sure to stay out of hm’s way here but 42 seconds is the gap between onor dele right now and the bunch so that might be a bit of a worry for lot of Destiny now if the bunch starts accelerating the pace um that could be quite a big worry here that could be quite a big worry for them surprisingly they haven’t had any of their Riders just jum and drop back to try and get him back a bit quicker I think they’ve they’re they’re trying to drop back with two Riders here so they’re trying to drop back two Riders for Honor D of course he is that big Kingpin they have got Maxim uh Maxim manels he was in that earlier Breakaway so was hmanh his other uh teammate so um yeah anything can happen still in this year’s toal France but who’s going to win 26.4 km under the leag closing that Gap quite rapidly 23 seconds between him and the front end of the peleton here the pace is not high like we said absolutely not high here Anything Can Happen great to have so many of our channel members as well we’ve got Rob I saw uh I’m not sure if we yeah we had Patty Don earlier Vera I’m not sure if we saw her Sara and uh yeah plenty of you here so that’s great to see 17 seconds now remember it was 42 seconds so after that mechanical he had and uh toilet break as well dele making it back quite quickly 26 kilometers still to go remember that final five kilometers there are a few obstacles here to say the least uh yeah that piece of gravel road didn’t really see it catching anyone out so um yeah 25.8 km 285 7 km here so uh anything’s going to happen or anything can happen on a dele is being brought back to the back end of the PTO Great Piece of teamwork there to get him back uh just on the side of the road as well a fairly pedestrian stage so far we’ve had those uh bit of uh worry there with the echelons but no one really catching each other out 25 km as we said that’s the banner that they’re coming under here as well um yeah plenty of sprinters like we said Sam Bennett he hasn’t won yet Fab Jacobson hasn’t won yet Brian Kar hasn’t won yet Anor Dee horor Dear Pascal a uh Phil bous all these teams want to get success with their Sprinter gavia as well um yeah there’s plenty of of uh sprinters that haven’t quite had that success that they would have wanted kristo as well friend of the channel he hasn’t taken a win here as well coming close in stage three that epic comeback after crashing within the last 50 km and then yeah uh that un cized climb that we have towards the end that is going to be quite alarming for maybe um yeah maybe many of these Riders so uh yeah the sprinters the heaviest sprinters Fab acobs and Dylan hovan that kind of Sprinter Michael Matthews we haven’t really seen him up there towards the point end and uh stage on us so uh yeah we’ll wait and see here are we’re going to see a stage win from m moar desperately wanted to take a win and right now in a poll 66% of you so 2third of you believe it is going to be a tacha victory in this year’s total front so 34% of you a bit bit uh yeah um on the safe side here of course uh 34% of you believe Jonah sping was going to win so that matches up quite neatly uh they’re saying it’s going to be a nervous finale Red Bull Bor hore saying you need to stick together need to stick together of course they’re thinking about Primus rogich Primos rogich very good at crashing out of total France but so far to my knowledge he’s done fairly well in this year’s tour crashed out in 2021 crashed out in 2022 so uh yeah not the best uh well as we said he’s not finished imp Podium since 2020 of course there’s explanations there as well 2022 or 2021 crashing out 2022 crashing out as well 2023 went for the jro won that uh didn’t win the well tpia uh blaming Fred Wright for a crash that happened there so that was kind of the highlight of that well tpia for him to some respect but 23.4 km the bunch is still bunched up so it’s not quite uh the pace that we would have wanted no team taking control putting the hammer down seeing that strong out team team that HTC Columbia lead out train that kind of effort is not being done in front of us so yeah bit of a shame here Vis M Lisa bike it’s all the GC teams just taking a bit easier here and maybe this is really um yeah this is probably a sign of there is no real big GC or Sprinter team that are is so dominant here um nobody’s willing to throw the hammer down there’s no real high hierarchy as the big sprint dog right now yes bie has two stages but it was from two different circumstances Helia terrain and of course even um yeah bit of chaotic one where yasper Philips and Mark cendes was caught up behind a crash so you see what I mean um so 22.7 km still to go here anything can happen in the stage you guys 65% of you believe it is going to be a tacha overall tour to France Victory and that would mean he is the first man since Marco patani in 1998 to win a jro tour double in one year Lampard and Mark cair talking at the front here the UAE and sudal quickstep man two of their domestics for their GC leaders 22 km to go here this is going to be a very fast finish to say the least what is going to happen oh it yeah that last uh shop zigzag Bend or whatever you want to call it what are we going to call it that last Bend we can see on our screen in front of us is going to be alarming stuff for any of the teams here coming into this positioning of course lead out positioning is always vital you can have the fastest Sprinter in the race but if you’re starting 20 Riders down you ain’t going to win and that is also uh yeah is also like the difficulty the nature the art of sprinting is to get your man in the right position deliver him 200 M to go on the right wheel so he can Sprint off take the Victory and hopefully they’ve not expended too much energy judging by the flags here on the side of the road we haven’t got a a well strong wind here so uh yeah I think the wind isn’t really going to feature at this part 21.6 km here we’re getting very close it’s going to be yeah it’s well shicane JT is saying it’s a shicane uh yeah shicane yeah that is the word yeah like the paru shicane yeah shicane there we go that is the word that was escaping me so thank you for that you see you guys teach me way more that you learn from me um but hey we can see the pro cycling stats fan as well that that is exciting they’re of course the ones responsible for that glorious website who knows where cycling NES would be with without them and uh yeah great to have so many people here 1,700 people they started in my adopted City right now of oron by the beautiful cathedral of course we had the rest day uh and we have an interview with beanie on the cycling day in extra Channel and also I happen to be riding with bie on the cycling Dan action channel so if you want to see that why not head over to that third Channel And subscribe while you’re there help us to get to 1,000 it’s in the chat right now just click the link and then one click takes to subscribe and uh of course that’s very very free and if you’re new here as well why not subscribe to the channel here of course we are going to do uh a stream every single day of this year’s total France and we will have some special videos as well coming up so uh look out for that but 20.2 km still to go the Riders are coming under the banner now this my Lisa bike up towards the front here uat merid it’s still calm guys what is happening what is happening it’s very calm at the front here we had that bit of a worry and uh yeah it’s looking like yeah as we know the GC is going to be potentially uh yeah the GC tomorrow is potentially going to shake up a bit we’ve had we have a very interesting top 10 Derek G of course all our Canadian friends are going to be happy about that having him up there so High 785 of you have hit the like button so let’s just check how close we are to our Toral front record this year I think we have a high very high uh bar to set if I’m honest but we are on a very open road here but unfortunately to all us Echelon uh fans it doesn’t look like it’s coming so uh it’s not going to be coming guys we’re not going to be seeing that uh the echelons The Vicious eons Terr into the Riders I don’t think that’s going to be happening today but in terms of um yeah what were we saying the highest likes that we’ve had on this year’s total France as we come inside and 19 kilm to go let’s just check CU we’ve done fairly well on this year’s to France oh stage five there you go stage no no no Stage Nine 1,273 likes that is our record on this year is stream 1,200 likes so that’s a very high bar here I don’t think we’re going to be beating that uh today maybe maybe not um we are over 1,200 people in the chat that’s actually our highest ever stream as well for the likes 1,273 so that’s the alltime stream record so well done to every single one of you um yeah as Rob said pausing that’s such a why didn’t I say that oh Rob in the comments that is amazing I love that they are pausing the action on the stage to promote the action the cycling Dane action Channel our third channel so head over there subscribe to the channel and let’s get over 1,000 subscribers almost there guys Mark Al here at the front here Neils poet behind him and then I think pava COV behind these two teammates and then the Glorious yellow Jersey of taracha it’s still fairly calm here at the front here 18.2 kmers nobody shown their teeth in terms of those sprinters teams nobody’s willing to just smash it but uh they haven’t done it yet they none of them have done it so we wait we are wait to see what’s going to happen now but this Melisa bike on the left hand side here isra Prem take on the right hand side of the road little track in there as well to keep chor safe inos Grand as well U mem s Quick Step the only hint of a of a sprinting team out of those five teams at the front is Israel Premier Tech of course so uh yeah who knows 17.6 km still to go here we got EV lampart at the front here we got Marx aair towards the front as well well 17.5 just ticking off another 100 m here great to have South Africa in the house as well/ Portugal plenty of Nations around the world let us know where you’re watching from as well let’s try and get as many flags of the world in the chat as well now you are allowed to spam spam with the flag of your your country 17.3 keters Ben Turner here the Doncaster yorman uh he’s of course riding in Services of Carlos Rodriguez here uh yeah not much action has happened on today’s stage they are all grouped together here 17.7 17.2 km to go as we beer towards that finish there was a lot of worry going on from the Riders here nothing really happening on today’s stage other than the few Sparks of potential side win here we’ve got that um yeah the intermediate Sprint produced a bit of action but uh yeah nothing to astonishing really we’re all eagerly awaiting that Sprint that is going to be our nugget for today that’s going to be what repays of faith and cycling um Anor de Dyan Fabi Jacobson Mark cendes bam gay Pascal aaman Phil bous there’s a lot of names there dear Dee uh Brian kokar um yeah I mean I would love to see Fab Jacobson take a stage win to be honest and uh maybe he can do that just finish the job get them a second stage win uh but as we’ve seen these Sprint stages have been a bit Audy bodgy some Riders just going a bit off the line Alexander Kristoff we haven’t had a Norwegian winner on this year’s edition of the total France uh last Norwegian winner to take a stage win 2020 was that on stage one with Alexander kristo or have we had a are the Norwegian winner we’ll wait and see coin ens who was out there in front of the the road for the pelaton of the pellaton in a breakaway that lasted not very long uh we’re just seeing pictures of him the inter man 16 km to go here 16 km to go the Enos granders and the GC Rivals are well and truly uh up towards the front here you could also called a Israel Premier take uh uh GC team here because they are of course doing their best to try and get uh der G inside potentially a top 10 so uh yeah 15.7 km still to go here great to have plenty of Americans across the uh Pond as well here so uh yeah there’s exciting times ahead now CU now we’re our faith all of you who joined from the start thank you for being here on this very not entertaining stage Justin is saying as well Anor dear uh Ammon is asking about B no update on bny because there’s no update on anyone Pelon his teammate here kin hosen uh mechanical here but the punch is well and truly all together nobody’s being caught out here um yeah Israel Prem te in your screen they’re going very slow I think this is the slowest I’ve seen lead into to a Sprint has anyone else seen this this is very very slow maybe this is them kind of trying to neutralize what’s been happening um uh well that dangerous road that we have towards the end I don’t know is that is that what they’re worried about here um yeah I don’t know 15.3 km to go here 15.3 km that is all that remains to be SE and thank you amen as well for subscribing but of course we need subscribers on the cycl day action Channel with 15 kets to go you just have the time to head over there and quickly smash that subscribe button and get us to a th000 we are over almost 2,000 people in the chat I’m sure we can find 100 people around the world to go over get on in that chat hit the Subscribe button and get over there and when we hit a th000 you will never ever hear me mention that name again the cycling day action on this stream of course we have got the competition as well so get involved in that but in order to be involved in that you have to subscribe to that channel Shane as well saying gavia today gavia could certainly be an outsider uh I was quite surprised he was second to be there so uh yeah is he going to win gavida a return to his 2017 2018 form where he seemed unbeatable but it’s been a long time since then unfortunately for him uh was that uat Merit they didn’t quite want him anymore and they turned him over to mistar mistar not really renowned for their sprinting capabilities I don’t think they’ won a Sprint stage ever in the Toral fronts correct me if I’m wrong uh roas was quite close to win a stage but that wasn’t quite a pure Sprinter so uh yeah uh we are waiting to see what is going to happen jts well saying who was the interm gorilla riding in front of you uh that was Gin Tyson he’s a very big guy in the leg Department to say the least uh yeah his legs one of his legs probably bigger than uh both of mine combined Israel PCH towards the right hand side of the road 13.8 km the kilm are taking down but the the pace is not going up here their pace is not going up Mark cendes here he’s sitting up towards the front the aana Kazakhstan man no well he’s from Israel well not Israel he’s from ILO man the other is uh ILO man uh and of course Great Britain is he going to be able to do something here um yeah and we’ll wait and see what’s going to happen 13.5 colums to go here Anything could happen anything could happen uh are we going to see potentially a stage win from H who a benoa in the form of the Netherlands Belgium Colombia even that’s not part of the Ben luux let’s be honest but we still are waiting this is a nervous calm finish Shane going from gavia Cavendish and Kristof are one two3 like that that would be quite a good top three that top three have all tasted success before in the tour front and terms of stage wins in the Sprint but H who’s my top three I think yasper philipson could potentially take the stage win today if I’m not honest if I’m honest they want it they’re angry they want blood but let’s hope it’s not in the form of Sprint deviation that is of course that big worry B has the confidence Mark CES has the confidence D has confidence as well so these three Riders want more if you win one stage you want two stages if you have two stages you want three stages and that could produce one incredible Sprint Fab Jacobson of course one of the Riders not having that Sprint win not winning since 2022 um Dyan of course having that stage win already Ana dear not winning Ana Dei a debutant not winning Phil bous never won at the total front that German Victory would be in incredible and really Elevate his stature within the sport as well so uh yeah I think uh it’s incredible here are we going to see potentially a stage Victory from any of these riders that haven’t already had a win we saw Anthony Tois never taking a stage win wins the gravel stage Kevin WLAN never won before in the T fance wins that stage so there’s plenty of rers who win our first race at the T well okay maybe many of the sprinters on this in this uh one on this level certainly have tasted uh success before um and uh yeah we will wait and see uh what’s going to happen uh are we going to see a stage win from any of them we will wait and see but right now sadar quick steps coming to the front here who’s going to take the stage win um and uh anyone can have well anyone of the sprinters could definitely win that washing that washing effect that we said the washing machine effect where it can kind of throw anyone uh towards the front end here who knows but yeah we’ll wait and see what’s going to happen here this is an incredible stage victory for any of these Riders who takes it but it’s certainly not been the most enthralling stage we have here we’re going to see who takes the stage win 11 km to go nobody’s taking charge of this pelaton in terms of the big sprinting team so that’s quite remarkable to say the least that’s quite remarkable and uh as we still wait here as Rob said with no action here that gives you an opportunity to click the link in the chat and subscribe to the cycling Dan action Channel if you want to shop me up about that channel why not go over and watch the video and subscribe that is the best way to shut me up uh plenty of you have subscribed and of course uh I’m eternally grateful for that but 10.5 km it’s getting into the hopefully more interesting part now remember with 5 km go we have that tricky profile there is that uncored climb as well we have here and uh yeah uh 10.3 km is all that we have remaining Now is it going to be cdes is it going to be yasper philipsson is it going to be bam gay is it going to be Dean onor Dee Pascal aaman the two Germans of aaman or Phil bous could do something here but uh yeah it’s going to be that uncategorized climb towards the Finish as well so that will be a big worry for many of of the teams DSM I think it’s certainly one of them to say the least they’re going to be very worried uh EF education easy post they’re coming towards the front here they’ve got Marian Vanden back so uh yeah this could be exciting this could be exciting for them can they take an unlikely win EF Israel prch desperately want to take a win with Pascal aaman they didn’t bring uh Corbin strong he would have been a good Rider as well um but yeah right now EF education easy post having won that yellow Jersey many of you thinking that they were one of the teams that were a bit more disappoint pointed but still having the yellow Jersey great great result that great result for them cater pass the eyes he’s first of equadorian to wear that Jersey uh on the same day that we had our first ever Air Tran to win a stage so yeah 9.3 km to go here 9.3 km to go is all that separates us from the Finishing Line and we’ll wait and see what happens here who’s going to be winning this stage Binum gay riding in second row here so into M have put their man in the perfect position right now perfect position from them and uh yeah potentially we can see Benny doing something here oh this is going to be interesting who’s going to take the win we haven’t really had a poll here so if you want to yeah we’ll see if uh yasper philipson gets many of you backing him we’ll do another one of our yes no poll um will philipsson philipsson win uh yes or no 8.7 kilm to go here kin hosen gets the competitivity award so the man who was in the Breakaway for about five minutes got the competitivity award oh okay so that was interesting so uh yeah uh kin hosen into M already having picked up prize money here in terms of that award there so uh extra few coppers added to the the prize fund there for them about 8.4 km to go here Shan Quinn the American national champion he finds himself at the front end of the peleton right now the pace is lifting but none of the real big sprinters teams have decided to throw the hammer down here at the front beanie sitting second wheel that’s a bit worrying because he’s got three teammates behind him so that is a bit of a worry for me beanie could get caught out by that could be exposed to some win but maybe they’re thinking about that corner uh further down we’ll wait and see here but Israel Premier Tech sitting very high up here so they’ll be very interested with this um yeah as Rob said as well we’re only missing 150 people to subscribe to the cycling Dane action channel so 150 people plenty of you have subscribed it’s time to encourage other people to do so as well 7.8 km 7.8 km this m bike on the left hand side Israel prch on the right hand side aana Kazakhstan with Mark cines they’re looking to take another stage win they’re looking to make it a historic 36 stage win for him and put that record Out Of Reach for generations for centuries to go he wants his name uh to be completely etched into legendary status it already is but even more so he doesn’t want to be like Eddie MKS 880 years old and having his record broken he wants to be 80 years old and nobody’s close to it apart from the great man Ed MKS but right now we’re seeing uh Warren baril John deob they’re starting to lift up the pace here 7.2 km now this is getting more exciting now now we’re going to see some of the Riders here just battling for position here a bit is just slowly coming up this battle for positions right now mate moric is he towards the front here 62 km now remember they have that tricky incline here the onized climb that’s going to be worrying a lot of the sprinters teams as well and then we have that chicane to worry about as well so a lot of worry for these teams but right now 2,000 people in the chat great to have you all here and let us know who you think’s going to take the stage win plenty of love for bie plenty of love for Mark cendes many of you not hoping that yasper philipson is going to win the stage but he could send cly be the favorite on today’s stage uh the man looking to get more success here um already having six stage win to his palmares but Rue Costa here towards the front here they’re thinking about Mar and bber of course many of these teams have a sprinter um on their ranks here in the teams inos granders here they have not got a sprinter but they’re looking to just take control of the bunch here they want to be in charge they love being in charging this C of part to keep their man Carlos Rodriguez out of any harm or being caught up from any crash uh ala Center Kern here moving up towards the front as well it’s now a battle for the sprinters teams we’ve got uh Uno X Mobility moving up as well we’ve got Israel prch aana Kazakhstan inos Grande trying to push the other teams to the right hand side of the road Vis Lisa bike as well with their own train Rue Costa is head setting up uh EF education easy Post train here a number of teams losing out here we’re inside the last 5 km now inside the last 5 kilometers and this could be a dangerous part now this could be a very dangerous part now for many of these teams now the battle for positions is key now 4.7 km to go Israel Premier Tech towards the front here they are thinking of Pascal aaman this could be a golden opportunity for them to take a stage Uno X losing ground now and so is alason with a few of their Riders here is this yasper philipson who’s lost touch here he’s far down Uno XA far down here this is worrying about 10 15 rows down here Uno X they’re trying to form their own train here Vis M Lisa and EF they’re the ones leading the charge here 4.2 km to go here 4.2 km to go here it’s all still to play for here any Sprinter could be winning this stage who’s going to be walking away with their top Hors as we come inside that last five four km here 4 km to go here 4 kilm to go interm what where is bie bie B bie bie sitting on the interm no on the alend train here Brian Kar Pascal aan a roundabout is coming now that was the roundabout we were talking about as well early on EF education easy post still has control of this bunch here up as in Deering forming their own train here but they have got bam gay on The Wheel here EF with nilson palis the American Rider he’s pushing on here he’s thinking on Marian Mander but 3.4 km to go with only two Riders left here of the EF train I think this is far too early here they’re going to be they need about two more Riders here if they’re going to keep this pace up and then deliver Marian Vandenberg on a plate to take a stage win I don’t think this is going to happen here but where is Jasper philipson where is d where’s Anor Dee where is Anor dear where is bie bie bie bie yasper Phillipson and bie I think are sitting fairly close now but remember we have got that chicane coming up as well inside the last kilometers so there’s a lot of things that can happen here 2.9 KMS to go EF are still at the front here but Israel Premier Tech trying to move up here Israel Premier Tech trying to move up their Sprint train as well with Pascal akiman the peleton is absolutely splintered now it’s strung out the hard Pace at the front the polka Jersey where of abrahamson he’s trying to move his teammate up here towards the front here Anor deise on the Wheel of B gay but they’re finding themselves quite far down this pair yasper philipson as well is on the wheel Macho they’re going to need a herculan effort from marchel VPO if they’re going to be able to take the stage win here to today but Pascal araman Marian vanderberg they’re sitting very very well here at the front we also have Sam Bennett they’re looking to De deliver him ag2r Jak aula they want more success here as well inside two kilm to go now inside two kilm to go two kilm that’s all we got left here aana Kazakhstan as well they’ve got Mark camish in here somewhere but where the leader man looking around where is camish he finds himself a bit further up further down here they don’t want to do the work for the teams here so alerson are the front team now alerson have three riders in front of Jasper philipson so now it’s the alerson show now 1.4 km to go here dlan as well trying to move up here Ward trying to move up the V Malisa bike rider and now we’re getting Kristof here chrisal laort is trying to move Ward into the perfect position now but it’s up to Upson to assert that dominance wants more Mach vapo is the last man for uh alerson they know about this chicane coming up now so we’re going to get that tricky shaane we partway through it now they’re going to swing towards the right hand side then they’ve got another corner and then we have the last last 800 m still to go here so many of you here make sure to hit the like button if you haven’t already subscribed to the channel but right now it’s alerson they’ve got one of the last man here opening it up but it is laort second wheel here third wheel matcho with yasper philipsson is he going to deliver him to his seventh career stage win Mel vapo opening up here gavia dling it in here bam gay he’s in the mix as well oh he has to be philipson he opens up the Sprint it’s Pasco aan it’s Jasper philipson it’s pinam gay Jasper philipson Pam gay it’s going to be yesper philipson yes but philipson takes the Sprint stage that was an incredible lead out there by alerson alerson taking that lead out wow we have another Sprint winner ladies and gentlemen another Sprint winner from a different team yasper Phillips and it’s such a competitive field as we said such a competitive field in this year’s edition of the tourto France in the Sprints the creme de laa here apart from Tim Mia and um Jonathan Milan but what a victory there Jasper Phillips in redemption in the second week he said that this second uh that rest day really did rejuvenate him he was ready this was it this was a famous Victory by him he’s going to be Absolut abolutely happy about this the green jersey winner of last year’s Edition yasper the disaster a name that haunts him but today it was yasper the master on Mach of vp’s wheel and what an incredible burst of speed there by March anipo wow we’ll go through the we’ll break down the Sprint as well what went wrong for bie I think bie just fought his way to second place there so a very good second place there for Binum make sure to close CL the gap on uh match of vpol that was an incredibly close Sprint there from the two actually there was quite a bit of distance between yasper philipson and Bam gay there uh we were saying it as well benie versus yasper man on man I think philipsson has has the upper hand of these two but Redemption there Redemption there uh yasper philipsson wins the battle for the sprinters of the intermediate Sprint and here now he takes the crowning uh moment there for that uh yeah that Sprint wow that was a Sprint and a half from the Upson theing team now they add another uh stage Victory they become what the seventh or eighth team to win a stage in this year’s uh well yeah ninth St ninth team to win a stage of this year’s Toral front um but yeah if if you haven’t already we’re over 2,000 people please go over to the cycling Dan action Channel And subscribe there we only need 150 people in that I’ll get you the top 10 we’ll break down the stream as well we’ll break down the Sprint as well and uh yeah what went wrong there for the other sprinters that is the question I’ll get you the top 10 as quickly as possible we we’ll look at the Sprint as well there but Macho vort Macho and yasper Phillips and the hug in it out there Mission success there for the team they will have been very unhappy about not taking a stage win in that first week after having been the the team of last year’s uh Sprints so uh we’ll look at the top 10 we’ll break down the green jersey as well we’ll look at the Sprint what went wrong for Beanie and the other sprinters as well but what a Sprint that was um yeah yasper the master to today not yasper the disaster that was quite a interesting Sprint to say the least but bie second place that was a very good second place for him uh when we’re thinking about that long-term battle for the uh green jersey here so yeah anything can happen in that race um so uh yeah let’s just get you the top 10 first before we look at the stage yeah that was that was close that was ah a good piece of sprinting there so there you have it yasper philipson wins the stage in front of the green jersey holder of uh bam gay in second place Israel Premier Tech record a third place with Pascal aaman they had a very good lead out there and then we had wal Bernard in a fourth place finish so he was giv the green light to Sprint there and uh yeah then we had Fernando gavia in a fifth place a good top five from him Sam Bennett getting a sixth place he’s going to be happy with that John Dean C in seventh place so that means Fab aimson probably wasn’t feeling great Phil bous another German so three Germans in top 10 good result from them in eighth place and then we had Dylan not great um in ninth place and then Axel zingler for cofes in 10th Place there so cofes getting a top 10 there so plenty of good results uh around the board for many of these teams and uh yeah that was quite accelerating we’ll get the green jersey as well and look a bit of at the Sprint as well where I kind of went wrong for some of the sprinters or if it was just Jasper philipson doing an absolutely scintillating stuff here thank you cycling Brad as well for the kind comments thank you so many of you for the kind comments I do really appreciate it many of you saying I’m your favorite commentator in English so I appreciate that a lot still waiting for that call up from Euros spot I don’t think it’s going to be coming um I’m just I’m just kidding I don’t want that it’s much better to be chatting here and yeah a reminder to head over to the cycling day action Channel as well if you haven’t already final reminder of today let’s try and get that to a th000 subscribers but we’ll break down the Sprint here before I head off I think we’ll do a recap race analysis I’m not quite sure uh was quite a straightforward Sprint here uh um so uh yeah it was it was a a good opportunity to say the least um yeah it’s uh yeah it’s uh it’s it was a very good Sprint you have to say it was interesting there was a lot of teams that got involved there no real powerhouse team taking it up in the last partt and we have got a number of teams looking excited about this so uh we’ll break down everything I’ll hurry over and do a Sprint analysis on the second action Channel but extra Channel not action Channel let’s got that right but uh yeah right now we’ll look at the GC stand well not the GC standing we don’t care about that of course we are doing the stream tomorrow as well so come back for that but we are of course not done on the stream yet we’re going to do the breakdown of the the Sprinter bit it wasn’t the most exciting stage so uh thank you to every single one of you for staying tuned uh because it certainly wasn’t the most exhilarating stage uh in in the beginning but we had a very explosive uh sprit so at least that made up for it but in terms of the green jersey no real movements in terms of the pointy end of that competition uh beum gay leads with 267 points of course that leads frun down a bit now so it’s down to 74 points still a big lead but I do remember that we have 20 points available in an intermediate Sprint and then you have 70 points available in the finale so if you miss those two that’s 70 points on a stage if the other guy wins if philipson were to win both of them but abrahamson still sits weirdly in third place um really showing how many points he built up uh so in that first week Antony toes as well stage winner and Stage n as we said uh toal en pride and joy he sits in fourth place Gia moves up three places as well 100 points for the moar Sprinter Brian Kar as well 98 points Anna Dee yeah where was Anna Dee Anna Dee wasn’t up there so that’s a bit of a shame uh yeah then onor dear as well uh he was up there towards the front in eighth place D in Ninth Place Kevan VLAN yeah we know he took the stage win and the intermediate Sprint on stage two so that’s why he is there but I think the what this really does tell us is uh that uh yeah it does show you that it is a very competitive field in this year’s edition of the total France and uh because uh we have so many riders uh on less points than some of these Riders we have won from a breakaway stage as well it shows you how the points are just um yeah it’s just a diluted between the different writers um yeah we uh we’ll break down the Sprint as well I’m just trying to get us the right angle as well so we’ll have a look at that where bam kind of lost lost it he had a bit of a shoulder BGE with s benett of all people s benett was up there towards the front plenty of Germans towards the front as well but yasper philipson when he kicks there is nobody who can rival him um yeah beanie his kick isn’t quite as strong as yasper philipsson but like we saw when it comes to those uphill finishes um yeah um he can’t quite follow the Air Tran man uh Air Tran Air Tran Superstar whatever you want to call him um but yeah right now it’s uh exciting times for interm it’s exciting for uh abum gay fans and uh yeah we remain we wait to see what’s going to happen in the stage deeper into the race as well but uh yeah in terms of that Sprint position that long way down the B my came let’s just get a screenshot of that that cuz that can give you uh idea of how long bie actually came was this um yeah was this uh what would you call it is this lead out training experience you would need he wasn’t quite deel delivered at the right time or the right place uh alasin absolutely delivered um yasper Philips in the right moment the right time and just complet completely bashed it the right moment so uh yeah you can see it there I just get minimize this so I’m not completely covered by the picture but you can see binam gay he’s about what 1 2 3 4 five 6 seven eighth about eighth man down exposed there’s no man around him in terms of the interm lead out no gabin Tyson which is quite surprising to be fair no Ugo no one there really to guide him around gabia equally also isolated laort um yeah quite isolated as well I think he dropped off uh wat vard asan Bennett no one around him aaman no one around him so it really is just Jasper philipson with Macho vle matanle did a phenomenal kick um and then there was a bit of Audy bodgy going on between Sam Bennett and um Benny not that he caused anyone to lose too much momentum but it certainly was a bit of fascinating uh contact between the two of them um not sure if if either of them and well thought that hampered their chances a bit too much not really sure but it certainly did show show them uh yeah they they uh yeah there you go you can see benie and S Bennett just touching there manipole slightly gaps Yas philipson as well there a bit so that was a bit of a worry uh for philipsson like are you starting to lose out a bit of momentum to your lead out man of uh of Mach of wool but yeah no it’s fine he um I think it’s the next frame we need to see him opening up the Sprint and yeah this is where you can see him opening up um the Sprint of course such a explosive Rider has that mantle of fastest man on two wheels right now in terms of the road is he the fastest man is he the fastest Sprinter in this race and of course when I say that I mean um is he the fastest man when it comes down to a mano Mano battle between him and the other guys you can see there beanie getting boxed in a bit and Pascal akam towards the front gabiria has a great opportunity to go on the right hand side if he has the legs John de CB up there as well you’ve got w not up there um yeah it was interesting that it wasn’t Jacobson but I’m sure we’re going to hear what happens there but then when yasper philipson opens up he closes the door so there isn’t any secret assault by uh by gavia possible so he just wants to Ram that uh Advantage Home there so uh yeah it it was uh yeah quite a uh I think the next frame just really puts into perspective how uh philipson just put everyone behind and left them uh left them for dust really uh and then you have bie he’s on the well kind of almost on the wheel of Pascal akiman it looks like he’s in a great position there but you have to say there was some really good uh opportunity there for uh a lot of these um Riders these second tier sprinters as well um it certainly is uh interesting bam gay green jersey certainly was great to see um and uh yeah unfortunately uh for Binum gay fans he doesn’t take this stage Victory but of course I’ll shoot over on the recap race analysis break down the stream or break down the Sprint a bit more but yeah every single one of you thank you a lot for joining of course it was very it was very nice to have a lot of you in the chat and uh yeah exciting Sprint and join us tomorrow as well for the cycling Dan uh more streams and uh if you haven’t already uh check the cycling Dan action Channel and try and help us to get to a th000 and of course we are very close to our alltime record for likes on a stream so yeah get involved with the like as well maybe we’ll get a new channnel record 1,200 that’s what you’re looking for we’re are on 1, uh almost 1,100 so we’re about 100 likes away and yeah of course as always thank you everyone single one of you for joining and I will see you
