I’ve been riding for about 5 years now and have gotten the basics down, can bunny hop pretty well. Can 180 and half cab, working on flat 360’s now. (Almost got it) I can feeble and double peg grind, nose bonk and nose 180

I learned a decent bunny hop pretty early on but everything else took me years to be able to do. I just feel like I progress so slow compared to other riders way better than me and have ridden for a lot shorter. I can’t even Manuel consistently.

Part of the reason I think is that I haven’t had anyone to ride with for years which I know helps you progress faster. I’ve been solo riding for a long time

But how can I progress faster without injuring myself? (I don’t care about bruises and scrapes, I just don’t want to break anything because I do deliveries on my bike too) what should I be working on next?

(I ride park but mostly flat like boxes and ledges, some ramps, I’m mostly a street rider)

I would guess it all comes down to you not wanting to get hurt or break anything. It’s bmx your gonna break stuff and your gonna get hurt, if you aren’t willing to do that then you will be progressing a lot slower than those around you. Also I have ridden alone for about 5 years and progressed at what I think it average so it isn’t that. My advice would just be to keep practicing and Mabye be willing to get hurt and send it.
