so makes a lot of sense but anyway I think someone’s trying to troll me because of uh I’m Vlogging right now but whatever anyway off the glasgo now hello everybody and welcome to day 6 I believe of the UK trip I’m catching a train from King’s cross Station in London all the way up to Glasgow in Scotland those of y’all watching probably already knew that but hey it’s something that we have to say so I’ve got a long train ride from King’s cross station have a stop over in Edinburgh 15-minute change over over to Glasgow got that mural walk and my first Sunday roast is going to be up there too and just after watching the uh Parts Unknown Anthony bourane episode it just seemed like my kind of people up there that’s why I chose glas go over edenburgh I mean I could be wrong about that I think we’re about to find out it’s like right at the end of the last one and the beginning of this one people are starting to troll me for vlogging but whatever at least I’m living rentree in their heads which is a good thing anyway y’all see y’all in Glasgow before leaving out of London you know I couldn’t pass by King’s cross station and not do one little thing as a lifelong Harry Potter fan and yes I committ it to the bit holy crap I’m going to be late for Hogwart I guess I’m a mugle after all after that stunt that was both physically painful and mentally painful in confirming that I am indeed a nomh I tucked into a nice steak bake from Gregs and a cup of tea and then boarded my train from a platform that did not have a fraction in it this was my longest train ride of the entire journey and I was hoping that it would pass by the Lake District that way I can tick that box off for all those people that were criticizing me for not even visiting it probably the same people that are criticizing me choosing Glasgow over Edinburgh I don’t understand why y’all are acting like I’m not going to come back over I do plan on doing that in 2025 in the meantime if you want to expedite that process hit that subscribe button drop a like on the video that way this video goes out to more people we can fund another one of these Adventures that way we won’t have to see most of the UK through trains which I got to tell you was one of my favorite parts of the entire trip was seeing all these beautiful countryside Parts as well as some ities as well as some Oceanside so first of all Northern England and Scotland beautiful that train ride saw a lot of great views on from the outside of the train and two for all y’all giving me for choosing Glasgow over Edinburgh Taylor Swift’s playing tonight and no disrespect to Taylor Swift or Edinburgh but not kind of not my thing Glasco is more my thing so for all y’all giving me a for that that’s my story I’m sticking to it let’s see in Glasgow remind me next time to check if an international pop star with a cult-like following is playing in a certain country that I’m visiting cuz as you’ll see later on in this Vlog series Taylor Swift interrupted my travels not once but twice I don’t really follow Taylor Swift so I had no idea she was coming around the time that I was coming I think somebody dropped the ball when it came to alerting me of that you had no problem telling me about the Euros happening but Taylor Swift crickets and anyway enough rants I made it to glasow and was greeted to my surprise by a bicycle race I was really confused so I’ve encountered both swifties and bicyclists like what the hell’s going on Glasgow did I miss some memo also shout out to revolver Hotel this had to be the swankiest hostile I’ve ever stayed at in terms of amenities beds the design and the people more on that later FYI I lost the one hair tie I bought to this country so until I go buy some more it’s Fabio time my next stop was the bothy which is an award-winning restaurant specializing in traditional Scottish Fair had to start out with a honey oldfashioned cuz Scotland whiskey no question it’s going to be smooth and tasty and gosh darn it it was of course the main event was the Sunday roast this was my only Sunday to get the Sunday roast because cuz next Sunday was going to be Liam Gallagher in Manchester they gave you a choice of a starter of either a fish cake Hackus Bon bonss or what I chose which was the seasonal vegetable soup which was potato leak soup this thing was delicious very creamy very potatoey seasoned perfectly I would highly recommend it GES to show their dedication to using fresh local produce which also is the case for this Sunday roast you get a choice between some pork loin roasted cauliflower steak for our vegetarian vegan friends or what I got which the roast beef strip loin serve nice pink medium rare just how I like it you get that all covered with gravy with York pting garlic and Thyme roasted roots and some duck fat roasted potatoes which by the way were perfectly salted if you know you know but in all seriousness this was perfect everything was just succulent Savory and made for a good lining of your stomach for all the alcohol that was going to be consumed later that night as well as this sticky toffee pudding someone told me that only tourists eat sticky toffee pudding but I don’t care this thing was Carly it was complex not too sweet overall this meal cost me just over 50 lb totally worth it even though I was properly full from all the Sunday roast I was not done eating had to stop by this one place in honor of Anthony Bourdain to Anthony Bourdain now if I had not been full off of that Sunday roast what I would have gotten was the bouraine special which was battered fish battered haggus chips side of curry sauce and some iron Brew which he called really one of life’s great Pleasures in the one episode of Hearts unknown where he went to glass we reacted to it on this channel it’ll be linked at the end of this video and it was the direct inspiration to why I chose glasow for this trip luckily it didn’t stop me and my new found New Zealander friend Adam from fighting some haggus on our night of drunken Shenanigans watch oh sure what okay okay ready all right you ready yeah go go go go all right this is my we’ve been out just doing our thing this whole night this is my first time trying haggus ever this thing is way too small I’m just going to don’t you get any ideas here oh yeah oh okay yeah it’s pretty good this pretty good pretty good yeah interesting texture there yeah it’s like couscous yeah yeah it’s very beefy though yeah it’s real like meaty like real real fatty yeah right yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah it’s like you can only eat that and nothing else pretty much I give it an 8 out of 108 out of 10 yeah yeah W nice nice all right we got it in review a lot of the night I didn’t film this was me back at the hostel after our Shenanigans but the tldr is we pregamed a lot because we were thought we were going to go do Koke at Horseshoe Bar but we ended up doing that the next night you’ll see that on the next Vlog on Monday and due to to Adam’s faux PA of fashion and the both of us being a little too intoxicated after pregaming we weren’t allowed in a few other bars we made the most of it though I don’t know how I don’t remember how but we did so much so that I missed my train to iness the next morning so on Monday you’re going to get another dose of Glasco thanks for watching consider subscribing watching another video thank you channel members thank you patrons love yall thank you for changing my life see you Monday [Music] you

  1. DRUNK in glasgow?….and they wouldnt let you in some bars?…..spencer!..that has to go on your resume…GLASGOW is the drunk capital of the world…its glasgows main export….its whole culture revolves around being drunk…so spencer, embrace your new found notoriety…"TOO DRUNK FOR GLASGOW!!!"…lol

  2. i respect the crap out of people that can travel like this. currently too house poor to even consider it. looks like it was a freaking blast!

  3. £50 Quid for 1 person? You can get about 5 from Toby's Carvery for that. It won't be as good, but good enough.

Nowt wrong with sticky toffee pudding.

  4. Loving these Spencer – one gripe. though. When you put the “pint count” up on the screen, it can’t be a continuation of all your previous days. Got to be a clean slate each day, my friend 👍🤣

  5. Love these vlogs! Your narrator voice is so relaxing. Don't listen to people who give you shit for not having the same itinerary they would have. The important thing is that you saw stuff you wanted to see, and had fun doing it.

  6. As someone from the North East of England (Newcastle), I'm ever so happy to see you eating Greggs, getting a shot of Durham Cathedral, and of course having a good Sunday Roast. But whoever said that sticky toffee pudding is for tourist is a nut job. Haggis too is delicious. The only touristy faux pas you made was the Old Fashioned. Why would you ruin the whisky by mixing other shit in it? Enjoy your trip!

  7. Aw enjoying watching u in England brilliant. Got you tube on the big telly now so your larger than life. Don't take the trolls on. All we got to do now is get Natasha and Debbie over 😂. Love it.

  8. Can’t believe your in Scotland iv been watching. You since your tried a fry up and irn bru haha welcome. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

  9. Its not legal to allow a drunk person to come into a pub or serve them alchohol, God forbid if you left the bar and got hit with a car or had a bad fall the person who served you while intoxicated would be liable.

  10. Hi from Falkirk, half way between Glasgow and Edinburgh, this place is where the "Keplies" and "The Falkirk wheel" is, couple of things some folk like to see for what ever reason, Edinburgh is a tourist city, they sell cheap tat with bumped up prices to tourists who think they're buying "traditional Scottish" things, Glasgow is more likely to tell you that its cheap tourist tat and not "traditional Scottish" Most folk that live in Edinburgh will tell you that Edinburgh is great, Most folk who don't will tell you that its an expensive tourist city. Though if you're still up in Scotland, Stirling and Falkirk are pretty cool places to visit, this is where a lot of the fighting happened over the centuries, Stirling and Falkirk had battles featured in the movie "Braveheart" and in "The outlaw King" some of those battles were in this area. The old northern most frontier of the Roman empire is in Falkirk too "The Antonine Wall" They tried to build another giant wall over the country but only lasted 20 years with this one.

  11. If/when you make it over here again, please consider York; it's in the beautiful county of Yorkshire and is so full of history; Romans, Vikings and much more besides!

  12. Got it took me a while as to why you didn't visit Edinburgh , Edinburgh is full of hills , Glasgow is flat and you're knackered ,better get fitter before visiting our capital, still enjoying your videos.

  13. Personally I always preferred Edinburgh. Though I did partially grow up there (from about 7yrs old). Glasgow I always found a bit more confusing, but it is better for gigs and alt shops. Edinburgh has a lot more touristy stuff, and tourists (especially in August when the festival is on), not such a good thing.

  14. I'd recommend boiled haggis with potatoes and turnip (Haggis, Neeps and Tatties) over deep fried next time. Bit greasy and stodgy out of a chippy.
