Another option instead of the steerer tube extender could be a stem with a really positive angle on it. Otherwise nice looking build

Steerer extension on a full carbon fork… yeah, that is ASKING for trouble, as in dental rebuild, reconstructive surgery, months and months of rehab and drinking out of a straw, nothing ever being right again, and massive out of pocket costs.
Either buy a Velo Orange Happy Stem and use it with enough steerer engagement, or better yet buy a steel Surly fork & a Cane Creek conversion crown race so it works with the tapered headset (Surly rates their forks to be used uncut)
