Hi Guys,
I got a gates belt tensioner send later which wasn’t originally on the bike. I got a Pathlite ON 8 SUV belt drive. I tried installing it but there is already good tension on the belt, that this seems like another friction point that will wear the band down.
My question is, is this piece even needed? I find nowhere information online or a proper guide on if it needs to spin what the friction needs to be etc.
