Hi, some might remember my last post. I found this bike and I would like some help with knowing if this bike is a good deal.
To clarify in case; the bike is $1,200 CAD / $880 USD *without the carbon wheels* and with cheaper wheels. The bike is $1,850 CAD / $1,356 USD *with the carbon wheels.*
The biggest improvement in recent years has been clearance for larger tires. I wouldn’t consider this unless i was 100% sure I could get 28mm tires on it. I’m sure you won’t be able to go any larger than that.
Pretty good, nice wheels, 11 years old but still a great bike. If you think, “modern” bikes For 1300 usd you can’t get much more than used tiagra heavy bike. so I think that its a good bike to consider. Light, rigid, easy to maintence.
